Hmmmm that's a hard one. But I'd say against Ultima Weapon, in FFVI, on the Floating Continent! That fight and the song were just perfect!michelle_moraes
Do you know the name of the song?

On the original OST (the one for the SNES version) it was called Fierce Battle! I just love that boss theme. Though I believe none surpass the excitment FFVII's boss battle ever gave me. I remember as if it was yesterday; I was playing FFVII for the first time in my life and when I got to the first boss (that scorpion-mech thingy) and that rocky song started I was all excited!Fighting Seymour was quite enjoyable... Using the lantern in FFVIII was one of the most difficult fights I've ever encountered...
crushgoil
Which Seymour fight?
any seymour battle really..crushgoilInteresting! Personally, I never liked Seymour battles, and also the character for that matter...

I liked the fights. Mostly the first one. The second one was annoying and the third I beat in 5 minutes(no lie). I thought his character was cool, but after his main part(the first battle), it lost its edge and had no main part in the story.

Wow, your last encounter with Seymour lasted ONLY 5 minutes?! How did you do that?! I had a bunch of problems on that battle! It was a pain.[QUOTE="IpodHero176"]Interesting! The same element was on the whole time. I was prepared for him to change it, but he never did. Then, I just used the element's weakness and beat him.

I found the second one a little hard, but only because of the status effects he puts on you.
Another favorite, even if it was annoying, is the Robot Spider from FFVIII. You had like 30 minutes to fight it and run from it to the ship. It was very exciting.IpodHero176
There was possible to kill the Spider using a Selphie magic limit break, 3 times meteor was enough to remove the annoyance.

Really, that early in the game?! I didn't know that. I beat it though.

It requires luck.

Personally, It'd have to be Trema (FFX-2), i had to figure out a rock-hard strategy to kick that guys ass
I thought that the Evrae (FFX)Â attles were very fun too!
Fighting Kefka final forms on Final Fantasy VI.greatfluffy
Best villan ever. I need to get VI Advance.

Definately; I find Kefka way more villain than Sephiroth... In my opinion, he is THE villain of FF series...The final version of Marluxia in Chain of Memories was a pretty awesome boss battle.. Not too difficult but reasonably long and quite pretty for a GBA game...
I didn't know before now that Chain of Memories can be played through twice.. once as Sora and then once as Riku. I think that's brilliant.. gives it a lot more replay value because though it's almost identical the little differences make it interesting enough to play through it again!!

No, i thought Kefka was evil, maybe more evil, but Sephiroths look makes the him the greatest villain!

Sephiroth my have the evil looks but does he has the evil laugh and goal which no other villian could not accomplish.

SPOILERS
Kefka not only poisoned an entire kingdom, but DESTROYED the world. Yep, he wasn't the usual villain that only dreams of messing up with the world. He ACTUALLY DID IT. That's one of the most important facts that makes him believable he is a villain; you really get to despise him while having funny moments with his insanity.

You got them on that fact.
Yeah, all of that is pretty bad. But Sephiroth did some evil stuff too remember.
*SPOILER*Â
He killed Aeris , he burned down Clouds hometown . And i can't think of anymore but there's more!

That's minor compared to what Kefka did.
WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!!! But that's the point I mentioned, he is one of the thousandth villains who wish they'd mess up the world but never did because they were outsmarted by the heroes! In the end of FFVII, the Lifestream and etc ended up saving the world from being smashed by the comet, which means, the super duper villain failed! With Kefka, it didn't. He wanted to destroy and that's what he did. I truly advise you to play FFVI Advance if you haven't yet. You will see what I mean. You will feel the despair after the world is in ruins. You will utterly despise Kefka when he destroys an entire kingdom by poisoning their water. And much more, I already spoiled too much, I'm sorry!Yeah, all of that is pretty bad. But Sephiroth did some evil stuff too remember.

I really need to get FFVI. I have played it but I was borrowing it so I didn't get to finish the game. :cry:TheManWithAPS2
Same here.
I have played FFVI, but i couldn't have played very much. I have got to get it! :D
Oh and Michelle you win this time!
Is there a FFVI on the PS?plague_gerkaYeas, there is! It is actually bundled with another game, under the title of Final Fantasy Anthologies. But honestly, I'd suggest you not go after this version because it is a bit slow. If you have a GBA or DS, it would better to play the new remake FFVI Advance specially because of the new additions, like summons as Diablos and other things. And there is hardly any slow bug battle on this version. Hahaha, I win this time huh. My intention wasn't forcing you to accept my point of view; I just wanted for you to see that Sephiroth may be a great villain, but there are still other villains out there to be checked out! :D I'm sure you'd enjoy FFVI.
