Favorite Square Enix CGI scene in a game?

I think I'd probably have to say the intro to FFX...crushgoil

For a long time it used to be FFVIII intro scene. But now it would have to be the intro of FFVI. It just shows how awsome FFVI would be if they remake it on the PS3.xVxObliVioNxVx

Opening to Chrono Cross was good I thought.
That's the only one i can think of that hasn't been mentioned yet.

I would say I liked one of CGI scenes from FF8 the best.

So, we've probably seen a lot of computer graphic scenes on Square Enix games. Which CG scene impressed you the most?

For me was FFVIII's intro scene. Sure, I was also amazed by Aeris scene before that, but FFVIII's intro was just... amazing. All that action right from the begining when you start the game, mixed with that amazing latin song. Not to mention of course how cool the character designs were.

I agree. The music really got me into it(that song was creepy, but cool). There was so much action like you said. I also liked FFX's opening(I wished it was longer). I immediately put that song on my Itunes right when I heard it.

Since I invested a couple of hours (139) into FF X I would have to say the ending scene was the best (tear).  FF VIII intro is good too as well as FF X, but that was the most satisfying game I have ever playedfinanceranger

I say definitely the scene in FF VII when sephiroth pierces aeris! The graphics were amazing when i bought the game when it came to shop i just couldnt believe that scene it looks still so wonderful! Even now when i've seen the graphics of ps3 it is still wery realism scene.

Yeah, I thought she would be self-concious about doing that in a dress. I wasn't surprised that Auron was doing that, he was too cool doing it. Tidus looked like"I wanted to be a part of the fun". Great scene though.

Also, Deep Dive with Roxas(the Japanese one), that was really cool, him just taking out all these heartless.

Im a big fan of the Chrono Cross introduction when you pop in Disk 1...great montage...now in terms of actual scenes-this is an old fashioned animated style one: the scene in Xenogears at the beginning when Fei obliterates the town you start in *i forgot it's name*Cronaroth
