Im sorta a noob to ff games but im loving them. Where can you buy softs and a shield. Yes im really noobish. I am at the (spoiler) part before fighting head sin. I need the softs to capture anima.
There should be a merchant somewhere, most likely an Al Bhed or someone standing around behind a wagon or something of the sorts. You can buy both Softs and Shields there.
you know...you can just kill the monsters that drop softs..there are lots of them...one question..if I were you...i wouldn't use softs..they are practically useless.

*sigh* Softs are useless eh? Well, when you have everyone petrified except for one chracter, with no Soft's or magic, you'll see how they could come in handy.
Now, the Local town shops arre most likely to have Soft's, but I don't think you could find any the now. Rin also sells stuff
Swt...I had never used soft, not even one time and I beat the game. :O
All you gotta simply do is, to level up your characters making them have MASSIVE damage. 1 hit K.O! That's what my friend did, and he practically obliterated any enemy that got in his way. even Jecht. Try that. ^_^
you need softs even if you power up your characters theres more then one enemy that will kick your ass if you don't have them or at least the ability so you don't get turned to stone.
LOL you don't need soft to caprture anima , you just need to solve all the 6 puzzles * yep the platforms and such* to unlock the temple under the see * the wrecked tepmple once you tsart the game* ..
yeah, just get the armour that stops you getting petrified, cus he just attacks so fast, u wont have a chance to use a soft, because if u get petrified ur dead straight away, cus ur under water (or summat like that, it may be after 1 more attack?)
Yeah, when he does petrify you, you are ejected from battle, unable to return (you shatter as soon as you are petrified), so you will need soft-protection armour.
