Hey guys can you tell me the diffrent between the complete one FF VII AC than the standard one..??
Nope. I don't understand why they're rereleasing it for Bluray....It wasn't good enough for the 15$ I paid for it, yet alone how much it'll cost for BluRay. :( I'd actually recommend any fan skip this movie as it tends to make people go: WTF that sucked...Andraxal
I liked it, and I thought the general consensus was that it was pretty good. It's blatant fan-servie and the story has been stretched to accomodate this movie, but the action scenes and the CG are fantastic. I'd say it's at least worth a watch.
I think it;s gonna be a new scene or something..??
is the trailer gonna be shown in the TGS.?
if so then it must be something diffrent than a standard one, well this is just my predict after all :P
AC is eye-candy that can be enjoyed if you don't think about the actual story. My friends liked it for this reason, but I on the other hand, was disappointed.S_Jake
I agree! I loved the action packed scenes and CGI, but story wise, that movie wasn't good. Like was mentioned here, just a fan service.
Hehehe, I'm not wasting a dime anymore on this movie. I already got it on DVD when it first released, then I got the (poor) collector's edition. No more on this movie! :Pmichelle_moraes
What's the difference from the collector's edition and the normal one?

There are some bonus stuff, like some novels about Tifa, Barret, Cloud and etc, some postcards of the characters (except Aeris'! >:( ) ... that's what I remember for now, anyway! XD

That's cool. See, I never bought, I acquired it through....other means, let's say. :P But I kinda wanted to get it so I was just wondering on the different versions. Thanks! :)

You would still buy it just for one teeny scene? Bah. I thought it was just as Aeris said, eye candy-the plot was terrible and somewhat cliched....It definitely needed some fine tuning...Look forward to AC2 in about 5 years....Hahahaha!

Well, The Last Order may be more of a reason to buy it, but you can just got out on Youtube or some other video website and watch it.
I liked AC, if I were to get a Blu-Ray movie to play on my PS3, it would probably be it.

I would rather get 300 or Silent Hill, but that's kinda off-topic :P, still AC was an ok movie.

The fights were good, but the rest was horrible.
I'm gonna get it, just for the fact that it's one more perfect Hi def movie being computer generated. That's just me :P I'm an "eye candy" addict. Already got the collection Dvd. But meh what's the use of an HDTV, got to feed this baby.
On a totally different topic, Planet Earth just look JAW DROPPING. This is still feeding my TV 1 hour a day after 2 weeks owning it
Hiya! I haven't seen your face around here often. :) Nice to meet you pierce. You're willing to go the extra mile just to feed your pricey digital box? HAhahahaha. I hope you don't already own a copy, I also hope you know what you're wasting your money on. :)Andraxal
I've been away for some time, really busy. But I do own it on DVD so I know what I'm "wasting" my money on haha. But I'm already wasting money on so many things. One more, one less what's the difference? :D

hahaha, I know what you mean. I felt that way after having 3 versions of FFIV.... :P
I agree. What was with some of those lines they had in the dubbed version? Were they smoking something? The jock looking one with the gauntlent goes: "meanie!" in a horrid not funny voice- I nearly DROPPED DEAD, not in the good way either. I was surplexed as to how they could allow such a horrid line into the movie, they didn't even do anything to make it funny either...I was flabbergasted at the amount spent on this movie, and yet it was horrid.....Fan service? Wanna do me a service? Stop making movies. Thank and goodnight! Andraxal
I watched the Japanese version. The dialogue was a lot better.

English Sephiroth was Lance Bass..............
that right there is more than enough reason to NOT watch the english version

Only for KH1. In Kh2 and FFVII series, he is voiced by Steven Blum.

the problem is that each fan feels differently about the movie.. and they are each entitled to their opinion of course.
I personally would not have changed anything about the movie.. I thought it was fantastic!

Hahaha I know!!! When it comes to Final Fantasy, I'm just that bad. (Though I'm not getting another AC no way! :P )
I even got FFI and FFII for the PSP although I recently played Dawn of Souls... I know, shame on me! :P

*adjusts nerdy glasses* actually it was George Newborne that did Sephiroth's voice for KH2 and AC, Steve Blum did Vincent's voice, they do sound kind of alike though.
From what I can tell, the blu-ray version of the movie will be longer than the dvd. I don't know by how much, but, from what the JP site shows, the fight between Cloud and Sephiroth will have more footage: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/tgs07/titles/ff7acc/ .My guess is that nearly all the fights in general will be longer, and, maybe a few extra dialogue scenes.

Kenshin18
Not to mention in all the battle scenes there is added Dirt on Cloud/Kadaj etc Also When Sephiroth Stabs Cloud at the End he picks him up off the ground in the blu-ray version. (reminiscent of what happens in Nibelheim)
The moment i heard that Lance BAss had anythign to do with Sephiroth i shut my ears of on anything FFVII that was in english X__X japanese sounds much better anyways
Did anyone else find Tifa in english too monotone ???

Hahahaha! Ark you're right on the mark! However I'd love to see an anime of it, a long one like DBZ long, only without so much freakin screaming, powering up, and wasting 15-20 mins at a time. I mean come on now. And no more blondies!! Andraxal
