After 40 hours of Game-Play I completed Final Fantasy VII. I have played through it half way twice and i finally sat down and played through it all the way. I feel quite proud. Next on the Horizon Final Fantasy VIII and i am already half way through that...

Apparently... I'm on my... lost count... runthrough of VIII. I'm stuck in boring old Timber. I hate teh train section, Rinoa makes it sound more complicated than it is.
i never finished FFVII, FVIII and FFIX, i always got half a way, but i already bought 7 and 8 so i will finish it against all odds, of course when i have time.
I have beaten FF7, 8, and 9. it was pretty fun, but FF8 has low replay value, I have it, but I don't fell like beating it again. Unlike FF7 and 9, they're pretty good games. I've played through them at least 3-4 times at least.
My VII CD stopped working on my PS2 as soon as I entered the Northern Crater in Disc 3, so I just quit. I've never been able to play it since. That was about 3 months ago.

Not sure what was my finishing time on FFVII when I first played it. I know it longer than 40 hours. You must have cut to the chase. The last time I played FFVII (which was earlier this year) it took me over 100 hours to finish. I went & digged up everything you can get (getting all the master materia's is soooo time consuming) & beat both secret Weapons (not much of a secret, more like avoid at all cost Weapons) in that last run through. I'm at Timber in FFVIII right now. It's only my second time playing the game since the first time I beat it way back when. I'm surprised a few of you guys didn't finish VII. Sup with that.

*gasp* i enjoy replaying FF8 than FF7 (although i'm playing it rite now juz to understand advent children better).. FF9 bores me to death
I've played VII, VIII & IX through so many times now, I really have lost count. It's probably around 20 times each, maybe 30. As for completion time, I think my best is VIII in 24 or 42 hours, can't remember.

I've never completed Final Fantasy VII :( Ive never played it so you have it a little better than me.
you haven't played VII...holy crap....I think it should be mandatory to have played VII to be in this union since it's the FF that got most people into the series & it's probably the most favorite among people who have played the entire series. I'm kidding, but you should give it a run through. Won't say you'll love it (everyone has different taste) but it definitely a game you should try if you like the series.
I played Final Fantasy VII to the final boss but couldn't beat it due to my PS2 deciding to stop running all playstation discs. I played FFX until got stuck and then I got X-2 and am playing that.
Finished FFVII, IX, X and X-2Â a heck long ago...I'm thinking on playing VII again, but my disc 1 is soo crazy I can't start a new game so I have to start from sector 7 (luckily i got a save file there)
I'm trying to get Finishing Touch before meeting Tifa, It's gonna take a while though.
Wow...Thats pretty cool that you beat FFVII in 40 hours. It took me around 80 and that was my last two time. I have beaten FFVII four times now. And I'm working on my fifth go at it. :D
Well come on guys, how can you call your self A Fan of FF if you havent beaten FFVII or FFVIII, they basicly remade the series, I'm just astounded that people havent beaten them, And I really cant believe Soulja_West hasnt beaten FFVII. Everything I thought I knew was all lies, I dont know what to believe any more:shock::?:P
never finished 7, 8 or 9. got far in 7 but dont know why i stopped. almost finished 8 but my old roommate saved over my file. i could of killed him. dont really have the timeto start back up. couldnt finish 9 cuz i was borrowing it from a friend.

why dont you get your own ones that, and make sure you keep the memory card in a safe place
