Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed Grandia III... Well, at least before I decided to finish the game. It is so far the most challenging Grandia game (excluding Grandia Xtreme). I love the new Aerial Rave feature in battles. I love the new and improved spell scenes. However, I'M TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE STORY. What kind of ending is that? Sheesh.

Well, I haven't beaten it yet, but I think the battle system is one of the best in RPG games today.

Even though the battles were THAT fun and challenging, you can still finish the game within 30 hours or less even though it has 2 discs. The Grandia series only needs improvement in the story department and game progression since the story is very generic (just like Grandia II) and the game is so linear.

I didn't like it. I rented it and just stopped playing. :( That's just me though. I think I've played the first one too much :P

SOOO BAD! I never even expected that after "that" fight, the game is already in the end. I'm really so disappointed.

For those who wish to play this game, JUST rent it!

Take my word. It annoyed me when after fighting that boss, then credits rolled. I never ever thought that it is already the last boss.

 I never even finished the game....Got to the second disk then just didn't have interest in playing anymore. Now I am stuck on FF12 so I probably will never finish it by the looks of it.

I've only played part of it.. but so far I'm really enjoying it.  Im sad to hear that the ending isn't good though..

i have no idea what the story is about because there are no subtitles :evil: but... i am on the last boss so thats good i guess.....

the first grandia did have an awesome story. I dont remember the ending being horrible in grandia 3 though. It was about what I expected I think. Still I was satisfied with grandia 3 for what it was. If i was to rate it, i would prob give it around an 8.

Oh yeah! I'll never forget the best line, when they were inside the volcano and one of the girls says "We are going to be sacriFRIED!" HAHAHA. Man, I have to play that game again!

yeah, the game definitely felt like it ended waaaay too abruptly. i wasn't expecting the game to end seriously. part 1 and 2 are a lot better imo, but 3 isn't SO bad, just the ending was like a "wtf" moment

I still haven't finished the third one yet, but it seems like it suffers from Xenogears syndrome: rushed 2nd CD! Lol!
