We have a dedicated thread for new members to say hello as well as a policy to unfortunatly frown upon poll threads. I see you want people to explain which is better, but with a title like that, this will be ignored by most forumites. So really your post should have been split into two and one put into the existing welcome thread and the other as a poll. If you want to encourage others to do what you suggested you should give an example first, but stating why YOU thought one was better than the other.

Since you cannot create polls until level 5 I am unfortunatly going to have to lock this. I hope this doesnt discourage you and see you around the boards. Enjoy your time here at the union and just make yourself feel at home. If you would like to suggest a poll and cannot create one check the Popular Poll Directory. Thanks!
