Well...I was playing through Kingdom Hearts again, refreshing my memory. I was sitting back, noticing how awesome it is having Tarzan in my party, running around kicking arse. Then I noticed that once I leave this world, I lose him forever. Gone, never to return again unless I go back to that certain world. It then hit me how awesome and amazing it would be to have people like Tarzan, Alladin, Jack Sparrow, Tron, and countless other amazing characters at the press of a button, or the simple swap of a character. I mean, it wouldn't be hard at all to incorporate into the system, and it wouldn't mess with the storyline. And if it does, then just don't let us have that one certain character into the party, or even better, just put him or her in the party temporarily like they do now.
I just think it's a shame that we get to have these neat character fighting by our side only to have them thrown back into their own world while we have to go to others, leaving them behind. Now that I've noticed this and looked it over numerous times, it really disappoints me that Square-Enix didn't think of this before I did, and no doubt many others. Once Kingdom Hearts III is on it's way in being developed, I think that would be an amazing idea to put into the system. It would be new, fresh, and it would give us gamers that like having more options (like myself) a new way to express that.
What are all of your thoughts on this? Do you think we should be able to keep those party members we get? Maybe not all of them, but at least a few.
We shouldn't, because its their world. Granted Squall and all them get to go to Hollow Bastion, and it would be kool to have some of the characters FF especially in your party all the time, it would ruin it abit. Cus think about it...Tarzan and all of them have nothing in common with you...you were trying to rescue Kari and Rikku and Micky and they just want the Heartless off their world. It would be fun but i dont think they should do it.
Now auron on the other hand :) he should stay with

Eh, well that's the thing. They could change the storyline, which wouldn't take much effort at all, so that they could. All SE would have to do is tweak it a bit, have something happen such as someone close to them being captured by the Heartless, or maybe even just revenge for trying to destroy their world. I don't think it would affect story that much at all, and like I said, people like Tarzan could stay, considering Sora doesn't speak ape. But people like Tron, Jack Sparrow, all of them we have no problem with, and therefore could merely tweak story elements so that they could come.
As much fun and awesome that it would be to travel with characters from different worlds I just don't believe that they should do that. The main reason that they don't travel in the first place is because of the fact that they don't know of the existence of other worlds besides their own. Even though they met with Sora and co. they still don't know that other worlds exist at most they just think that Sora and co. are strange. So as much as I would like to take characters with me as I traveled to different worlds I just don't think that SE should do that.

Well, some of them don't know, others do. Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, and Cid know about the other worlds, as their's was destroyed, so they came to Traverse Town. I suppose that could happen with the other characters. It seems as though I'm the only one that thinks this is a good idea, though. Eh, no matter.
