Square/Enix Before the Merge

i never knew what enix was.

square i learned more of.

before the merge id say ffvii being fave and ffiv being least

Well enix also brought alot of good animes across to america so that alone made me like enix and Star Ocean is still one of my favorite video game series but, Squaresoft opened me up to the world of rpgs with there great work on Mario RPG and FF I, II, and even the legends.. But, before the merger we saw really great games from Square and since the merger we've seen Star Ocean:Till the end of time Thats it really.... Dragon Quest was a let down and the stupid voice acting made me quit half way through... We haven't seen a real Final Fantasy from SE yet so when we see that then I'll make my judgements... Anyone else think they should take the number off FFXI?Ssouljah

I think Square was better before the merger. I've seen a steep decline in the quality of Square's games since the merger.

It's a shame that Squaresoft blew off all those profits on that horrendous FF Spirits Within movie. I'm not saying the movie was bad but it wasn't up to expectations.

Enix wasn't that big to me, there games where really just second rate. manhunt1001
