As we all know the Final Fantasy series is one of the longest and greatest series out there but how long do you think the series will last?

I would say the series will last very long since there are so many fans and i fthe series suddenly ended the fans would be pissed.

It will last as long as capitalism will. Square sees that the games sell a bunch, so why stop?

I'm sure at one point it will stop. Dunno if it will stop in my life time. I really can't see it ending. If  new Pac-Man games can still come out, then I'm sure Final Fantasy will continue to be a long lasting series. There isn't another RPG series that lasted this long....as far as series goes. Does anyone know what's the second longest running series or longer running series than FF?
