Anyone have the details of the story behind FFXII? What are your thoughts about the upcomming game and do you think it will live up to Final Fantasy standards? Honestly I don't know what to expect anymore after FFX-2 or FFXI ...
I can't wait 'til october 31st, I already have the collectors edition on reserve at EB games. I'll be there at midnight to pick it up, and to celebrate ( the EB games I have my reserve at is having a party at midnightwhen they release the game.)
I do know that Final Fantasy XII takes place in the old world of Ivalice. This is the same world as Final Fantasy Tactics and a few earlier game ( I'm not sure which ones, I haven't played the earlier games.) Â
I have very high expectations of this game, they lasted a lifetime to finally release it! but i still have faith in square i mean famitsu gave it a 40/40 score and only like 6 games have gotten that score!
So yeah i think it will live up to its predesesors even though it was a bumpy ride with X-2 and XI but maybe XII will make it right! XD
I am going to buy the collectors addition to collect, not open it at all. But then I don't want to also buy the regular one because of cost. So I'll will see if everyone likes it, if they don't i'll play it but if they do I will have to get it.
