i would have to say 9. not because of the difficulty, but the story line. by the time you got to the 4th disc, the story lost all edge-of-your-seat feeling and you only wanted to finish it to see the awesome movie at the end. i know a lot of ppl disagree, but everyone has the right to their own opinion.
don't feel guilty, in this topic all of you have freedom to say anything related to the topic as long as it doesn't insult anyone. to me, i think ff8 is hardest,because when my level grew up, the enemy also became stronger too
I found all the games from 7 on to be remarkably easy, 6 wasn't so bad either. 1 was hard in the magic conservation in dungeons, 2 was hard for me at the start due to the development system but was easy at the end when I worked on their stats, 3 was ok except for a couple really mean bosses, and with 4 you had to be cautious as well.

JUST KIDDING!!!:PÂ anyway I think probably......ummm.....*thinks*...*yawns*...*thinks*...*stretches*...*thinks*...probably FF2! That game was pretty challangeing cause of the weird levelingsystem and the VERRRY frequent battles!
have to say ff8 the only way i won was because i was loaded with auras and dosing squall with them every turn lol. The side missions and everything were hard but fun. The bosses were decent but i hate timed battles!

FFIX is one of the easiest FFs but also my favourite! FFVIII was hard the first time I played it, but only because I didn't understand the junction system but when I came to understand it I loved the game. FFVI has some very difficult parts.

Well then is it cause he doesnt like the storyline, again a weird reason because everyone has different tastes and basically the whole story of FF9 is lost in the last disc with a small amount of sidequests to do.
Man why do the majority of people think FF8 was the hardest? I don't remeber that game being hard at all! What was so hard about it? I don't remeber having any real trouble with that game..

It's not that it's hard, it's actually pretty easy, but once you get through the whole game, you still have items to collect and side-quests to complete, to ACTUALLY beat the game in most people's books, and that's hard cuz it takes such a damn long time...
FFV because it had some tough boss battles and some very hard enemies where you would have to be a decent level to even stand up against them.darksword1123

I agree too. FF V was really too hard..we had so many jobs to choose and few ability points for battle..argh..i can't stand against that cave that gives you 5 points..haha...for me..the fifth one is the hardest
