What's your favorite type of weapon?

Hey remember we are talking about games lol! XD

In any SE game, what is your favorite kind of weapon?

Mine is the good old sword. I just love swords, and that being said, Squall's Gunblade is the coolest sword I've ever seen. I just love its ability of atacking with piercing and firing at the same time.

I love swords too. That's my favorite weapon hands down.

I have no idea, but when I think of a Gunblade, for some reason I think of swords....

I always wanted a real replica of a Gunblade, but that is probably really really expensive even to ask someone in that area to try to immitate that....

Mine would be the one Tidus holds on the famous blue-ish wallpaper (forgot the name of that sword). It also looks really cool!

You mean Brotherhood?

My favorite would also be Swords.But mostly the huge swords not the Katanas and the skiny blades like that.So all of Tidus's Brotherhood(the shiny blue one) Aurons Sword(I cant remember the name)the Buster Blade etc.I also thought it was awesome in a funny way that cait sith fought with mega phones.Twit92

I'v always digged spears a bit. I normally really like Magic characters more than melee, so I guess staffs would be the next favorite for me.Khenshu

Yeah, I also give preference to spells over weapons, unless it comes swords. But I'm more into attack spells like Firaga and Ultima, rather than effect ones as Drain, Poison and the like. And of course, always prepared with white magic like Curaga. 

I'll be conservative and say THE SWORd. The main character must have THE SWORD, and no one else may even touch THE SWORd, unless its a sabre (a.k.a. the kiddie, non-main-character, desperately-trying-to-look-coll-but-still-isn't sword, then that's ok.

But i'm a fan of gloves and gauntlets and such. i would really like to see a FF main character to be some spiky-haired, ruthless (but somewhat nice on the inside) to have a big @#$& sword and be able to swich to hand to hand combat, or combinations.
