I saw the topic for best intro so I figured lets have one for best ending. I think that FFX had the best ending. What about every one else? Dragonwarrior
FFVIII really liked the ending becuase it really capped an epic journey with Squall walking miles on end looking for his friends, very mushy ending. but I like it.
*SPOILER* I don't know if I really have to say that since we're in a topic about game endings, but anyway... IX and X's endings are so different I don't know which one to say is better. I would probably say that X's is better if you weren't aware so long that Tidus would fade away along with the Fayths' other dreams at the end. But IX's ending really is amazing, and though I'm not always a fan of a happy ending for everyone, that ending is really done well, and thus my favorite.

Yeah FFIX's rocked.
It was a faithfull ending to the game, but it wasn't the strongest as it didn't involve all the characters and how they feel etc.
Final Fantasy Ending are all weird in certain ways they just leave you like wtf I wanna know whats next or you just have so many questions at the end like X's you see tidus swimming back up your just like huh wait don't vut me off here.... and then VII your just like wtf 500 years later... And VIII prolly the best one it doesn't leave you wondering just lost in emotion... IX was just weird I hated that Final Fantasy I couldn't relate to it at all...

As far as all the Final Fantasy games go i'd have to say it goes to my most favorite of them all:

vii had a the second best ending though, not really because of what happened, but more or less because how attached you got to the characters towards the end of it all. I was sad just realizing the game was over.
