who is the coolest FF series Villian

To me it often seems as people choose Sephiroth as the best villain because they think that he is cool, but honestly that doesn't make a character a very good villain Nimroc

Sure the cool factor helps, but his backround and insainity won me over.  A villian need to be trying to achieve something so evil even the devil cringes, yet they themselves think thay are doing the right thing, just like Sephiroth!!!

He is no way as near as evil and twisted as a certain clown from FFVI. And since when did a hairstyle make a good villain?

no way ultimecia was one of the best, she was going to destroy TIME, sephiroth only wanted to destroy the world and use it to travel to someplace or something another,

but sephiroth comes in a very close second

Kefka would be my favorite MAIN villain. I haven't played FFV yet, but i hear that Gilgamesh is a pretty entertaining adversary.

As a side note, Kefka would have to be much more insane than Sephiroth was.

Personally I don't see Kefka as Insane as he seems to have been like that his whole life and you need to go through a change to become insane.
In my opinion Kefka is only different ( very different ) which makes so that people see him as insane.

One thing that I like with Kefka is that unlike most of the other villains in the serie he is not doing ''evil'' acts because of hatred, destiny ( Sephiroth ), Revenge ( Ultimecia if the Ultimecia=Rinoa theory is true in a way which I think it maybe is ) or just a need to be bad ( X-Death ), He rather are doing what he thinks is fun.

It is like a child who have a whole nest of ants to play with ( at least in the way me and my brother used to do with the ants at home when we were younger )

erm... Sephiroth. I mean, c'mon. He's everywhere. Everybody knows his name. If you ask a non-FF player who sephiroth is, they could tell you. But if you ask them who Kefka or somebody like that is, will they know? Nope. Sephiroth is one of the most known video-game figures ever.awesome_italian

Seifer is my favourite villian because of his bad ass attitude.He has the psychological advantage over people like Zell and Squall because of the way he acts around them. Hes annoying,a brat and although he was an easy adversary, i did enjoy the fights against him.manhunt1001

Kuja is the best villan besides in the end his envy on Zidane  brings him to madness.

And he does actually destroys Tera in the end.

You have a point there but I have always thought of him as a clown.

Sephiroth is the coolest by far.  He's got that twisted past that takes you the entire game to figure out, he manipulates countless people in order to get to the northern crater and get the black materia, and still finds time to torment Cloud's mind.  Not to mention releasing those WEAPONs.  Then there was that whole thing where there was accually 2 different Sephiroths in the crater.  He was confusing, manipulative, and awesome.

However, even though she doesn't have a big role, I thought Jenova was pretty wicked.  Appearing from space and wiping out a civilization of ancients or turning them into monsters, then lying dorment for thousands of years, having her power used to twist members of SOLDIER into monsters, and finally convincing Sephiroth into destroying the world.  And even then, she JUST DOESN'T STAY DEAD AFTER YOU KILL HER!

Seifer-He was the coolest FF series villain because of his wicked attitude plus he had the best weapon, a double edged gunblade!! Now I know Sephiroth had a big sword but that surely is way cooler! Plus Seifer had a scar- ALL cool villains should have a scar, it's like a law! In conclusion I think you'll find that Seifer rules!!southy787
