I think I wound up getting 4.5 hours in tonight. Yeah, the "intro" is the longest ever, clocking in at about 3.5 hours (you don't see the "KH2" logo until that point). So much of the first part are minigames, but after that you get into the typical tons of battles (almost too many...) that KH has been known for, between a lot of story scenes.
Aerith's lines seem to have been delivered so... blandly, though, oh well. And does Yuffie ever open her eyes?
If you want a challenge, go for Proud Mode. I've been dying left and right... at least until I started customizing and went to a world with a lower battle level. Really, though, one boss I was fighting killed me in 2 hits. Definately leveling up before I go back.
I knew how I would feel at this moment and my prediction was right. How frustrated and jealous I am right now! To people who have the game: Have you found it as easy as the reviews have said it is so far?Somegamer
Six hours in and I really was never in danger of dying. I did lose a minigame battle scenario thingie at the 6 hour mark (in the Mulan world) where you had to kill 8 hiding heartless. The hard part is the morale meter (slowly decreases, killing enemies drops morale orbs, but hunting them out fast enough took me 3 tries).
Got it the day it came out [in stores] (Feb. 29th), beat it March 4th (gametime = 23:56), and now I'm working on getting 100% on Jiminy's Journal and BEATING SEPHIROTH! UGH!
I have to say I'm addicted to this game. I've played it til midnight or later for the last week almost. The story (deep, enigmatic, and intruiging), graphics (rich and beautiful), sounds (mainly voice acting & lip syncing), and gameplay are amazingly well done. I'll probably play til I'm Lv.100 like the original KH...
