Ooh, that's what he meant...I can't really say. I haven't tried that yet. Soulja says it isn't any better so I'll just take his word for it.
The graphics are 32-bit. Yeah, that's it. Sound is better if you have better speakers than you did back in '97. Otherwise, no it is the exact same game, and in my opinion, still good the second or third time through.
I heard rumors that FFVII was being remade for the PS3, anyone know anything about that? I know that they made the intro again to show the power of the PS3, but there were rumors that the whole game was going to be remade.

For now, nothing more than UNCOMFIRMED rumours. The remade intro was a tech demo, an official statement has been made denying a remake, but anything is possible, dont expect it to materialize in anything less than 4 years though.
To the original poster (everybody jumped on him without even reading what he said!) The game will look blurrier on your Playstation 2 due to a filtering effect that CANNOT be turned off, the loading will be faster and you can turn on/off other filters to further blur the graphics in an attempt to reduce the aliansing of the graphics (pixels). Having played the game extensively on the Playstation 2 I have to say playing it on the original Playstation is a better experience especially since the graphics are sharper and the difference in loading times isnt enough to warrent a blurry image (furthermore I had stability problems with the game occasionally crashing)
[QUOTE="Inuyoukai12"]Yeah that would be awesome if they remade FF7 for the PS2 and i'm sure the graphics would change for a new version lol. kingdom09

I doubt if they could keep that a secret, but ya never know.
I've said this before and I'll say it again. If Sony don't produce this FFVII remake it will be just plain stupid. Consider the popularity of FFVII, massive. They would be rolling in it. However some people, including me, would like them to make new games and continue on with the FF series, FFVII has had more than it's fair share of spin offs. Somegamer
I would totally buy the remake too, but I don't know.
i don't care bout mine anymore i got other games that are way betterFirestorm22485
