Your favorite Square Enix world?

We know it, everybody has a favorite world. The one you'd like to be a part of. The one in which it best translates your tastes. Which world is it? Ivalice? Kingdom Heart's? Grandia's? Maybe Chrono Trigger's?

For me, it is hard to choose. So I'll cite my three favorites.

First, FFVIII's world. Because it was trying to be similar to our real world, I felt really good playing in that world, felt like home. It was a tranquil place, especially when you entered places like Windhill or Trabia Garden. Yet it had some "real world" issues. It was close to our world, with the bad and good things.

Chrono Trigger's world. It is just so cute and simple, and cozy. I could see myself living in a place like that, having those festivals and such to look forward to. Another lively place. I could see myself selling goodies on those tents, like items and such, lol.

Finally, Dragon Quest VIII's world. I don't know if it is because of the classical ost, or because the world is just dang wonderfully done. I could see myself relaxing in that world, not having to worry about wars, hunger, diseases and the like. That's my ideal world. Very close to nature. 

I really did like VIII's world. It was cool. I think I'd either live in Esthar or Balamb. How cool would it be to be part of SeeD???

XII's Ivalice would be cool too. I think I'd either live in Rabanastre or as a Sky Pirate in Balfonheim.

come on dollet or galbadia would be a cool place to live or windhill, but windhill wouldn't be fun since everyone moved away :(

also anyone notice that fisherman tower looks like midgar city core?

I would live in VIII's world too. I would also be a SeeD too. I would have an awsome Gunblade.

I might be in the KH worlds too. Mostly either Twilight Town, Destiny's Island, or TWTNW.

the credits show him eating but were they hotdogs? because if it wasn't then he never got to eat them :)

i can see myself living in balamb garden waking up each morning in a different place, even out in the ocean sometimes a floating home is my kind of home, i wouldn't mind being a seed either wielding an awesome gunblade, or trying those hotdogs that zell likesSprigain

Seems everyone is in agreement that the FFVIII world kicks ass!

I myself would love to be in the FFVIII world, be apart of the SEED team (seems like I've said this b4). But the world itself was really in-a-way lifelike. My favorite FF world probably overall to explore.

Also I wouldn't mind having an adventure in Evermore. I wouldn't mind going around exploring and hunting baddies with my companion dog. *woof woof*. Probably settle in the medievil setting, become a market boy or something.

Chrono Trigger has a vast amount of worlds to explore, but namely I could only really see myself living in only a couple of time eras, 1000 AD - gotta love that festival, 640 AD - perhaps being a recruit of the mighty magus would be deliciously evil.

Just thinking on Kingdom Hearts, I could hang with Donald Duck, me and him could be brothers.

Hahahha! I had forgotten about the hotdogs! I guessed if I lived in Balamb I would be standing in those ever-famous lines for the ever-famous hotdogs as well! Hanging out in the secret hide out in the Training Center, going to Balamb City every once in a while, I think I'd be Zell's friend too, he was just so cool.

I wouldn't want to be in X because of the whole "Sin trying to ruin the world" thing.. but otherwise it'd be pretty cool.

I think I'd least want to live in ffvii's world.. they're killing their planet..

yea, VII's world isn't too appealing to me either. IX's world wouldn't be too bad though. I'd either live in Alexandria or Lindblum.

ok we all agree that ff8 is the best world hehe me included, but ffx was ok, alot od towns and things, kinda like island nation, but still have to say 8 just because, its modern yet has magic, and we can all relate to it, from dollet (france) to galbadia (new york)

I really wished they would go to a modern style again, i like all the ff games, but seems like the games are more like a fairy tale now and getting to far away from the look of todays city, like I wouldn't mind a city that was in advent  children, can you think what final fantasy would be like if you could explore a real world like that!

Although I could see myself living in 8's world I prefer games to have more of a fantasy feel.  FFXII is a nice synthesis between fantasy and modernity in my opinion.. as were the locations in X.

I like the places in VIII to live in, but not as a setting for a Final Fantasy game. That's one of the main reasons I didn't like that game, it just didn't feel Final Fantasy. And that's one of the reasons why I like games like IX and XII, it's like the game went back to its roots.

They're doing what FF was suppose to be like. The levels are suppose to be fantasy-like, and I mean fairy-tale like design. I like either way.

I would either live in VII, XII, X-2, or KH

 VII:You have't considered the world of VII after Shinra is destroyed, I would live in either Kalm Town, or Casa Del Sol myself.

 KH:I'd love to live in a place where you could go to different planets in minutes! If I had a place to live in KH it would be in

Hollow Bastion near where Merlin's house is in KH2.

 X-2:I chose X-2 over X because in X-2 Sin is gone permanently.I would live on quiet little Besaid Island

XII:In Ivalice I'd live in Rabanastre or Archadia because they are great, prosperous cities. 

I personally have never played VIII so I don't know about it, but I really want it.

X's world would be nice as well. I'd live in Zanarkand and play blitzball alongside Tidus for the Zanarkand Abes. Hopefully Sin dosen't show up this time!

FFXII is a nice synthesis between fantasy and modernity in my opinioncrushgoil

FFVI too. Everybody is fighting with swords but there's machine firing lasers, the magitek armors, big robots infused with magic. It's one of my favorite world, well, before its destruction :D

I love Magitek Armor! I wish that you'd get more chances to use it in the game. 

Nobody have said Ivalice?, for me it's the biggest and most developed of all the Square worlds. Hope it don't be overdeveloped and ultimately ruined just for money. I also like the Mana world, the gorgeous art design and the always original feel of the series make it one of my favs. Another place i like to inhabit (in a game of course) is the Balamb garden, and although it's not a world, i feel it has all the ingredients that make a place likeable, its like my third home (don't ask what is the second one :P ). serpentaurus

My favorite place would be Zanarkand. Its a beautiful high tech city and it would be fun going out at nights. greatfluffy

I love Treno! Especially the music. Treno will always remind me of playing Tetra Master for some reason...I think it's 'cause I spent so much time in that city collecting cards...:lol:
