Well well well for a console half the price and the fact that PS3 was further delayed in Europe you would think that 360 would be leading drastically but it turns out that PS3 is in fact leading in Europe, by 1 million. Now you may think it's not much but everything that is going for 360 I have to admit I am mighty impressed, now with the confrmation of the slim PS3 and price cut the 1 million lead will only grow.

It is possible that Sony has included more regions than Microsoft, such as Australia (which is in the PAL region), but as soon as we know more, we'll let you know.

I guess you forgot to read your link...

There's about 20 million people living in Australia so it won't make that much of a difference. It's no surprise that the PS3 is more popular here in Europe.

Back on topic. Doesn't MS consider Australia in the PAL territory? I wasn't aware of that but that doesn't change the fact that though PS3 was further delayed in Europe and with half the price of 360 it should have been common knowledge that 360 is killing PS3 in Europe like it is in America but unfortunately that is'nt the case. What is common though is that Europe is Sony land, lol. The slim plus price cut will only cement PS3's victory over 360 in Europe....

That sounds a little fishy because the 360 has been outselling it in EU for the last year. Either way, those days are over.

you didn't read all of it did you, sony counts ps3 accounts, psp accounts, and ACCOUNTS on their website, so if you ever created a username on the website then they counted it so if they had accounts from 2 years ago that never made a post it was counted.

Xbox Live allows for dedicated severs, and about 5 Xbox games use them, that's hardly a difference ...

Well UK is the biggest single market in EU if you count the countries in EU one by one but it doesn't win in size by a long-shot if you would compare the rest of Europe to UK.

MS might win UK but that doesn't say much if it doesn't win in any other country in EU.
