Xbox one cannot match that. So Sony will look to strangle as soon as possible. Microsoft is vunerable against that selling point. Do you think the gen is over or will xbox ones innovation media marvel sell itself and at same price point will actually outsell sony in NA? 6 year life cycle 2020 will bring on another system with power to play games at 2160 120hz natively.

Not sure how anyone could admit that with launch titles made on older devkits. We'll see what happens within a years time. If all the games are still 720P then I can see people admitting that.

winning the console war is different to winning the gpu war. it takes more than just graphics to win the entire console war, but, gpu specs is a battle, and I'd bet tuppence on our PS4 t win t battle.

How many first party exclusives were sub 720p on PS3? Resistance 2 and Resistance 3 are the only ones I can think of. Xbox had a lot more sub 720p first party and only 1 halo game was able to hit 720p last gen.

Fast forward to now and xbox 1 only has 1 of it's much hyped exclusive games to hit 1080p and many of the multiplatform games are at reduced resolution compared to PS4 and even being as low as 720p (the last generations standard resolution) when PS4 is 900p or 1080p...ALREADY.

I don't think PS4 will be getting all 1080p games either, however when the TRUE next gen games start getting made what will that mean for xbone that is already getting reduced to last generation setting just to be on par with PS4 performance? I think that is the real issue here.

It can't match Sony's first party 1080p 60 FPS games, but 3rd parties suck at making games so most of them will still be 720p.

But Forza already runs at 1080p/60. If a launch game can run at that resolution, what makes you think other games later in the gen wont? Developers always learn how to use tools more effectively.

For almost 10 years people have been claiming the difference between 720 and 1080 is negligible that it didn't matter. Now its the next big thing.

Its too bad the Xbone has a better launch lineup.
