I'm so glad that the difficulty their playing at is only Normal, it seems manageable for newbies, but for veterans Normal will defiantly be a cake walk.Bansheesdie

I'm going Heroic first and after that Legendary.

As somebody who wasn't too impressed with the beta, I am simply in awe right now. Halo 1 was spectacular, Halo 2 multi is phenomanal, but Halo 3 is looking like the king of all. The visuals are stunning, the game play looks fantastic and the additions of customization, and playback is incredible. Halo 3 is shaping up to be one of, if not THE game of the year.

Ok... I was extremely excited until I actually viewed the video. Still looks fun though.

More and more I'm getting the feeling that the multiplayer will outshine the single player even more than Halo 2 did :(. If you think about it 80% of the new content are features for multiplayer. There's not really any new gameplay mechanics either (new grenades are cool, but nothing big).

I'm still hyping AAA though.

I was really happy when he said it played like Halo 1, but then specifically like the beach. I think everyone who disliked Halo 2's campaign did so because it lacked that awesome beach level's quality.

I also wowed when they came out of the tunnel onto the highway and the huge covenant ship went over. :o

It was also awesome when he detached the camera and moved waaaaay across the level and there were marines being pinned down by the brute. It's cool that there's fighting going on in other places. It reminds me of the original again, on the big snow level where you round the corner and there's covenant bodies and a burnt out hog and a couple of bleeding marines. Then you might play on legendary and all the marines are dead and there's still some covi guys left.

Gameplay looked alright, I can't wait to get the game though, hopefully it'll be half as good as Halo :Pthirstychainsaw

The gameplay will be much better and deeper on Heroic and Legendary then on Normal, which is the difficulty H3 is being played at at GC.

There was the guy who asked if it had co-op.... and first off, they're apparently game journalists. How the heck can he not know it has co-op? But aside from that even, Brian had already said two minutes ago that the game had co-op and went into all kinds of detail about what it entailed. Only to then have this guys say "so does it have co-op?"

Even funnier, after he confirms again "um, yes. Yes it has four player co-op" the dude then says "i read it doesn't work..." as if he's lying. :lol:

All of that topped off by "can you play as sergeant johnson...?"
