after the Elite version ($479) gets sold out the Premium versions selling at $399 will probably be equipped with HDMI & 120GB HDD. Sony are pwned if true!

it would be awesome with the whole IPTV set up. no need for a HD-DVD drive- just download to your HDD

What will hapen to the Core? Will the current Premium become the Core? Or will there be 3 SKU's? Maybe they will sell the Core with HDMI for 249 and the current Premium with 20GB HDD and HDMI with components 299. They should just get rid of the Core since it can't even go online.

i think the Core will eventually get phased out- i hope it does since it doesnt over the full experience since its got longer loading times & even the new 512MB memory card just isnt Big Enough for downloads etc

I still cant believe MS is going to charge $200 for a 120gb harddrive.. Thats such a ripoff. I can get a 120gb harddrive for the PS3 for 80 bucks.

That is the rumored price for the HDD separate.  And 80 is what you can buy a standard laptop drive for.  Quite a ripoff.

1. lol a game doesnt have to be set for HMDI- HDMI i just a way of transfering a signal from the console to TV 2. WiFI- is unreliable for online gaming - it works well if its close enough to the router but thats when use ethernet. 3. who needs a HD-DVD drive when uve got a 120GB HDD- just download movies on2 that.

Sony would be able to swoop in and drop the price of the ps3 to $499 (and that has blu-ray playback and wifi ). The ps3 wouldn't be owned at all.

MS needs to release a $250 core system with a small hdd (like 5-10 gigs) if it wants to keep up with nintendo, sony is already out of the game.

actually there is no point going for a small 5-10gigs HDD- just go straight for a 8GB flash drive- or just get rid of the Core.

Well it ISNT definite but could be on the cards- i mean the HDMI is pretty much guaranteed to reach the Premium X360s- the main question is- will the 120GB? personally i think it would be best if the Core systems would recieve the 20GB HDDs & the Premiums get the 120GB ones- once the 65nm chips get released then it cuts costs so MS could make such a move with their systems- however the release of the 512MB memory card for the Core systems makes the initial theory look doubtful. maybe the 20GB HDDs will get discontinued & Premiums will just get the 120GB HDDs
