soo im asking, why do you need all those gigs? to download stuff for money? or is just to make the x360 look bigger than ps3 even though 20gigs is enough for x360 cuz of a ten year old format?

You can download so many things off xbox live there is a way to fill it up easily. 120 gigs is a large ammount but I have seen external hard drives that are over that I have a 160 gb and my friend has a 500 gb. you can also transfer CD's, Movies, Ect.. onto your 360 as long as its Mp3 or WMV files so its a smart move by MS, its still cheaper than the PS3 by about $20 and tax. Also its OPTIONAL you dont have to buy it to play 360 games and future ones. You can still buy the premuim or core if you want

  Its not a bad thing at all ...
   It just means that everyone whom bashes the PS3 becuase of Blu-ray dosnt have a leg to stand on ...

The difference is MS is giving you a choice, Sony would have been wise to do the same.  If you can't get online and just want to play games , a $299 core is just fine, if however you want to take advantage of the HD downloads/IPTV, there is a $479 option.

Sony forced you to buy into Blu Ray whether you wanted it or not, imagine how much better Sony could be doing right now had there been a $399 version that offered everything MS was offering. (ie a 20 gig HDD etc,)
