Looks good. Who's going to pick this one up?

I think Silent Hill needs some serious innovation, especially in the combat system. Playing a game like Silent Hill with an amazing combat system would be so much more immersive. An RE4 type makeover would be nice...VoxteX
This actually does fix the combat some, but I love Silent Hill the way it's always been, so yeah...

NO THANK YOU!>_>.:|
[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"][QUOTE="lantus"]Err, I'd rather spend my money on Dead Space and Resident Evil 5.lantus
Not a Silent Hill fan?
Pretty much, I've always hated the controls, I doubt this game will change much from previous ones.
I've always been fine with it. Great franchise.
Meh, it could use some work in the combat area. The endless slashing with a knife to the chest until they fall over is kind of boring. They NPC's don't even react to the attacks either. I don't care how if you are impervious to pain that much, there should be weight to the attacks with a bit of knockback. For the most part the nurses were just standing there without showing any animation to the attacks.spinecaton
The nurses have always been like that. They're weak enemies. They're not meant to be powerful, and with their odd movements they will strike if you give them the time.
Could I hear Sonic Unleashed being played in the background?

Haha, I heard the rings being collected, too. :)

I know but with current tech of the new consoles, you think you can give them a little more animation. I wasn't talking about them attacking, I was talking about you as the character attacking them. When swinging the knife, there was no weight to it. The only thing that happened was huge slashes in the nurses flesh. If one is making that big of a gash into someone's flesh, I expect them to show a little bit of knock-back animation then what they were showing.
