Buffalo Grove boy dials 911 after parents take away his Xbox video game. :lol:

"A 15-year-old boy told Buffalo Grove police that his parents had taken away his video game system and asked whether they were within their rights.

They were, police told him.

The teen called 911 about 12:50 p.m. Sunday but then hung up, said Cmdr. Steve Husak. Officers went to the house, and after hearing the story, told the youth that his parents have the authority to take away his Xbox as punishment.

He also was advised to listen to his parents, Husak said. Husak did not know why the boy was being punished."

Am not a violent person but he needs a slap and told to grow up and take the punishment.

If i never took my punishment and phoned the police when i was 15 year old then my mum would have said i was spoiled. She would then tell me I won't be seeing the console again for long time. If i still moaned about it she would havegot out a hammer and smash the console in front of me and say something like "if you can't have any respect for your parent then your not playing your games"

I was out the other day and seen a girl about 10 year old get handed a cigarette by her mum. Someone ask her what she thinks she's doing. The lady replied that the girl have been steeling cigarettes for ages and she cant stop her so now she give them to her.

A parent should have full control over most of there kids action at that age. If the kid is smoking at about 10 then its all the parents fault and it comes down to very bad parenting or neglect.

I couldn't believe that when i saw it. I walked away but i wished i phone the social services about it.

I know a little boy who should be put up for adoption. I would leave him on the front steps of the orphanage go home and make another, we had apparently failed with that one.

well he could have just killed his parents like others have done over their 360s. i even seen news of a dad killing his 3 year old for knocking his 360 over. that kid seems pretty smart. least he tried to reason with them. unlike others^^^monson21502

The kid is a spoiled brat. After the police left, I would definitely have taken ALL his video game systems and gave them away to charities.

well IDK , there was the dude in RUssia that ate his mom because he didnt want to leave his house to get food and he wasted all his money on booze. AND the judge only gave him a 14 year sentence because he said

"well he had to eat somehoiw"

plus the guy was proven to be completely sane as well.

It's the mental shift from strict parenting to being afraid that child services will be storming your doors if you raise your hand against your kid. Sheesh, it's kinda sad these days how parents care more about outer appearances (want to be the "kind and loving" parent) than making sure your kids don't make an ass of you and themselves in public.
