TPSs are counted in there as well, so that leaves even more games that can't be considered shooters.

Fanboys are the pickiest bunch and they go on a rabid blood hunt on anything that is deemed too many such like the old Xbox having way too many shooters back then. Nowadays, that myth was carried to the 360 by Sony fanboys and that myth was busted by Jaime Hyneman and Adam Savage.

And I guess you can count metriod. (I know I'm missing a couple too lazy to look up)
