With the anticipation building towards this year's E3, it looks like Natal, Move, and 3DS won't be the only new pieces of hardware to be showcased at the biggest electronics show of the year. An early news leak reports that Microsoft is prepared to give us all a first look at the successor to the Xbox 360.
5 years after it's launch, 360 will be making way for, what early information reveals to be named Xbox Paradigm. Although this new system will mark the beginning of the next generation, Aaron Greenberg wanted to assuage any concerns about 360's future, assuring that it will "receive continued support for the next 2-3 years".
Its expected Natal will be included with all Xbox Paradigm systems, as well as its already scheduled separate launch as an add-on for the existing 360. While there was no demo product to be shown, the logo has been leaked for this next-gen Xbox, coinciding with its new name reveal.
Questions naturally remain about the systems technical specifications; from CPU to GPU performance, system memory, media types, and hard drive sizes, among other factors. Questions, which Greenberg promises will be answered during the official unveiling (when we also get a first look at the system itself) at E3 later in the year, giving us all even more to reason for excitement for this year's show.
