1Up preview: DMC4 better on PS3, better than NG2

How would one version be better than the other:

Controls- no beacuse if they wanted to they could just use the same controls (unless well it uses teh motion)

Graphics- cmon not that impressive I dont see any difference

Dev Time- ok the ps3 is a harder system to build games on so you know well it prob wont see a difference, also capcom has experience with the 360 and makes good money there I don't see them doing a half ass job

Look the guy said the PS3 version clearly looked better and gamespot said the same thing here when it was shown at E3. So get over it right now it looks better on the PS3 and its a great looking game on both platforms.

Gamespot said this at E3, that was 5 months ago so it is meaningless. IGN says the differences are minimal and doesn't even bother to say which one looks better. Find me a comparison video or screens that prove which one looks better.

They say the bosses are bigger and DMC has real time weapon switching instead of having to pause like in NG. The one dude is a known cow Bettenhausen and the other guy is a moron. They are trying to cause controversy.

One guy said it looks better than NG2. The other (Shane - lol) said DMC4 could be better than NG2.

Even though it's Shane (lol), he actually had valid complaints about NG. Having to pause the game to switch weapons for example.

the ps3 version is the lead plateform...(atleast thats what i thought i read) and may have been taking their time to optimize it on the ps3 first...but thats if its the lead platform

I've always loved both DMC and NG, but DMC has a special place in my heart. It was the action game to pioneer all action games during the PS2 days.

In my book, Ninja Gaiden has no equal in terms of creating deep and challenging gameplay w/ really tough AI that doesn't feel cheap in the slightest bit.

DMC was a good game, but the 2nd was trash and the 3rd was just ok. The 4th might be really good, but so far it looks too similar to part 3 for me to be getting my hopes up just yet.

If NG2 was just more of the same w/ a little more polish, it's already a AAA must have in my book, simply b/c pretty much everyone knows ninja gaiden was the best pure action game ever made.

I'm sure both will be plenty of fun to play regardless of fanboyism and silly rants.

capcom is making two versions of the game to take advantage of both consoles. so no one of them will be the lead platform

why is it that whenever PS3 gets any positive news, the source is all of the sudden "quesitonable"?-Serpahim-

Having just watched the preview, I'm not surprised, but only because I have a feeling that DMC4 was ported to the 360. However as Shane said in the video, Capcom is using a 'new engine', which may be more favorable for the PS3; and as others have said, the PS3 version has been in development longer. I'm not even going to bring the PC version into this because I wouldn't know how one would go about playing this type of game on a PC. :?

As far as control goes, how could it not be better on the PS3? The franchise was born on the PS2 and we're used to playing it on the dualshock design. So i'm assuming by 'better', they're speaking in terms of familiarity and comfort.

I won't commit much on the NG2 claim, simply because no one should underestimate Team Ninja's abilities. Have they reached their 'peak?' only time will tell. 8)

I have none, but I'm just trying to imagine how it would be preferable to consoles (other than the likely possibility of it looking better on the system.)
