Only if the PS3 had a good controller for FPS games. Is killzone 2 going to support K/M?

Good question. :\
Impossible. Gears of War 2 looks better than Crysis.BobHipJames
 gears 2 has nothing on gears 1 on pc and crysis completly destorys gears 1 pc. There is no console game in the same legue as crysis, plus basicly everything in crysis can be destoryed while gears has basicly no destruction and is all grey

Nice opinion. Crysis just has large environments and nothing else. Its repetative and has 2d fire the game is outdated. Gears 2 is graphics king.
Do you Know what your typing.. Because no post can contain this much Bull..Sounds good, hope they fix any control problems there are though.chaosX303
The way I understood it it was'nt a matter of bad controls but a matter of them not being appealing to everyone due to the realistic approach they went for (lots of recoil etc).

Yeah theres lots of recoil. The sniper moves with the wind, things like that. The game wont be for the casuals dont expect a 5 million sellerHopefuly KZ2 will be keyboard & mouse friendly :?
It IS possible for online play as well ...all they have to do is separate the guys with k/m from the ones with controllers.
Â
Something like this:
- controller VS controller
- k&m VS k&m
- controller VS k&m (just for fun lol)
Â
sigh, I wish they would start to implement it in this one rather than KZ3 ...if they would ever do it :x
You know, if you console fanboys really cared about FPS graphics, you'd all own gaming PC's... And if you did own PC's and play the better looking FPS`s, you probably wouldn`t care about who gets the silver medal. But, here you are bickering, so...ShafftehrNot neccessarily true. I own a powerful rig but prefer console FPS

I own a powerful rig but prefer console FPS But this isn`t about just preferring console FPS`... I own a rig capable of running anything out there right now, and the Halo series has been my favorite FPS series of the past 7 or so years (you can stick that in your pipe and smoke it Hermits - that includes the whole Half-Life 2 saga, which I've played and quite enjoyed). But since this thread is talking about graphics, would I say that I prefer console FPS graphics to PC? Heck no... So, do you prefer console FPS graphics to PC FPS graphics?

But, here you are bickering, so...ShafftehrIn the console realm PC's really don't matter to Cows and Lemmings. It's mostly a comparison of PS3 and 360. I'm a PC gamer as well, but I need to upgrade my rig to play Crysis and STALKER.
Because you like playing FPS with a controller?DragonfireXZ95I quite enjoy it. I wouldn't want to use a controller in competitive play, but when playing just for fun, it's comfortable, it's not awkward, they are easier to use in a variety of different seating arrangements... Yeah, I quite enjoy FPS on controllers.
Epic did this exact thing with UT3. Hopefully GG will too. But if they don't, it's not the end of the world.Hopefuly KZ2 will be keyboard & mouse friendly :?

Dont forget IGN too. From Multiplayer Beta Preview:game looks AMAZING!!
"it's hard to see how anyone could deny the sheer technical achievement of the game. No online shooter in the console market could possible claim to look better than Killzone 2, or feature more atmosphere and eye for detail."

Dont forget IGN too. From Multiplayer Beta Preview:Yep. It's now starting to look like a done deal in terms of console graphics.

No. I know PC graphics pwn the consoles, But your first point was "if you really cared....". and I still care about the console graphicsCouth_My first point was, in shorthand, "If you really care about FPS graphics, you'll own a PC and consoles won't be that important." If you DO worry about graphics, get the heck away from consoles - they will always be second best after the first year or so of their life cycle. And if you hold avoid games/platforms because of graphics, consoles will always be off your to-play list. So if you're bickering about "best graphics" as if it really meant something on consoles... Hah.

It's not the end of the world, but since they polished the game so much why not make a few extra polishes while they're still at it? :P

Hah. Why should you stay away from consoles if you care about graphics? I care. They are not the only thing to a game, but I care about them. The PS3 and 360 may not be able to stack up against the PC, but they are far better than something like the Wii. I will continue to care about console graphics, whether the PC is better or not :?

Hah. It does mean something in the console realm. I care about graphics to an extent. And alot of shooters on consoles range from "getting the job done" to "looking absolutely amazing". And even after a year or two, these console shooter visuals will still please and contribute to your experience (won't be the best ever though). I don't have to get away from consoles to be concerned about graphics. I'm partly a PC gamer at heart (started out gaming on PC) but it's too expensive right now :(. If I could I'd play PC games (shooters) as well as console games (shooters) and be perfectly fine with the visuals and respective experiences they provide.
