1UP: Too Human not good, Pixeljunk Eden GOTY?

Personally, I think this game looks A at best (which is why I'm hyping it A). This game looks like a love it or hate it type of game.

That's the very defintion of flop though......Lems hyped this as the action game of this GEN, better than God Of War 3 (before we've even seen it). I can't remember how many times I saw people's hype list say "Ninja Gaiden 2....Action GOTY".......to say it wasn't really a flop is laughable.darthogre

Actually what you just said is laughable. Good sales, good scores would indicate this game is far from a failure.

Do people actually take 1UP seriously? That site seems like its trying to be MySpace or something....they review games? All I care about is what IGN has to say. I'd say Gamespot too but.....they can't seem to make up their mind on the review scores lately. I have to admit, Too Human was a bit underwhelming in the demo though...

Whats new? These guys talk alot of crap about every game. Only game I havent seen them talk crap about is LBP. Maybe Fallout 3 aswell but it seems these guys nitpick on every game besides halo 3, lol.

That's why I stopped listening to their podcasts and visit their site. It irritates me their excesive negativity.

I sometimes wonder if some of them even like the hobby at all.

Again, failure and flop ARE NOT THE SAME THING. Why can't you people understand this very simple concept? Heck Haze could sell 1 million copies but it would still be considered a flop. MGS4 could have got an 8.5 but would have been considered a flop.

Do you understand? I'm surprised that someone at level 20 with 2230 posts does not understand the definition of what a flop is when you obviously post on this forum so much. Cows, Lems and Sheep continue to defend their titles as not flopping when it has NOTHING to do with whether or not it sells well or scores well. It has to meet expectation in score only, if it doesn't, it's considered a flop in this forum.
