Custom soundtrack or a slight visual edge. which is more important to you?BansheesdieCustom soundtrack if it means I dont have to listen to Avril Lavine and DJ atomica. Seriously! I want to blast some Fear Factory when I'm driving 180mph through traffic. Thats a feature that made the past games sweet. The music would always kick up when you hit boost and it was like adding to the adrenalin rush. I'll miss it.
[QUOTE="Jandurin"]If only 1up were credible. Has anyone else noted this?niall077yeah lets wait for the super credible gamespot review before we know.... ha i see what u did there...but lets still see wat other sites say

They were credible when they were talking about the DMC4 load times though werent they?

I don't ever think 1up is credible.I take a look at all scores and read multiple reviews before I make judgments.
And I pay next to no attention to "previews".
"But which platform offers the consummate version of Paradise? While the PlayStation 3 edition sports a slight visual edge (a few superior textures, no screen tearing) and arguably superior controller triggers"
Is that some joke? :| Or... what? How do they figure? Cause I understand gas and brake are on the triggers, don't know what the RB and LB were used for, but A was boost if I remember and B hand brake...
Now the thing I ask is, I've played the PS3's controller, and it's triggers aren't the best IMO. The wierd decision to curve outward instead of in is annoying for a while. So... ...*shrugs* Oh well

Agreed I really don't like that site. The 1up Show is pretty good though.

You aren't familiar with the reviewer, if you have ever heard the 1up yours podcast, you'd know Shane B is a pretty huge Sony supporter."But which platform offers the consummate version of Paradise? And no , I'm not making any excuses for the fact that the 360 version is graphically inferior.

Thank you. I can easily hit power on my stereo and i got music with my games. Honestly lemmings stop crawling for weak advantages.
'Slight' would be the only appropriate term, since both the PS3 and the 360 are very similar in ability. I'm happy that Criterion has the brains to figure out how porting should be done this generation for shared titles between the two. Hopefully more devs. will follow suit.DementedDragonthey ported well because the ps3 was the lead platform and transitioning it from there to the 360 is much easier than vice versa
So the more expensive console with discs 5 times bigger has a slight advantage? Yay?locopatho:lol: I love it how the fanboys keep saying more expensive, when it is pretty much the same price now. And how once the PS3 starts to look slightly better on multiplats( just like 360 used to look slightly better) it doesn't matter:|

Dude, look below my sig where it says PSN...etc I'm bummed because it was a great feature that didnt require me to blast an external audio system to listen to the music I already spent hours loading onto my PS3. Also the boost/music volume increase effect in past games was great. You dont get that on ipod or stereo system unless you want to manualycrank the volume each time you hit the boost.http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3165508danishkhan
Who cares. The games are pretty much identical. I'm still getting the XBox 360 version.
Well PS3 was the lead platform for BOP. Swift_Boss_A
yep...but man reading the ps3 doesn't have cutsom sound tracks due to sony...why would sony not have that? they allow ut3 to have mods.. O.o oh well i'm getting the 360 verison.

Im a Lemming, but you do realize the PS3 at this point is $50 more..right?
Either way, we all love to hate on the PS3, and it's time to give it up. In this particular case, the PS3 version seems to be better at this point in time, like DMC4.
Damnit! Why doesnt the PS3 version let me use my own music? Even the xbox version of burnout 3 could do that. Oh well, I guess I'll be enjoying the sounds of DJ Atomica. Drag :?Darthmatt
wow, you really have to go that low?
that's just silly

His boss SHUE is the worlds biggest LEMMING for a LOOOONG time, so its all good. I am a Lemming, even I know that.
Anyways, the Triggers on the xbox aren't the greatest when looking at the analog Sensitivity, something perhaps is easier to access on the PS3's shoulder triggers, who knows.
The 360 triggers are sharper as well, less ergonomic.

lol... if he is in fact mr. ps3, that quote does nothing to prove it.
the ps3's triggers are better for some games...
it's a matter of opinion.

i think of it this way.. i will turn down the music volume in the game and turn on my stereo... there are my custom soundtracks.. haha
thats what i do with most games anyways.. so ill take isual edge
Achievements and custom soundtracks FTW.
That mongloid Bettenhausen is a cow. I could care less what he has to say. That comment about the triggers is pure nonsense.
JiveT
Achievements are not better than Graphics.
Also, some poster said that Since PSN is free, that is greater than Custom Soundtracks.
It's all a wash to me (Im getting 360 version, since that's all I have.)
