Exactly. How could this feature ever possibly work without getting a slew of copyrighted material and porn within the first few minutes of launch. That's the same reason MS stuck to just Photo Sharing in the upcoming NXE.

They never promised Home features, they did announce them, and pulling features out of a game or program is NOTHING new to any game. Heck, you may not be aware of what's missing from Halo 3, but there gone.

I do agree that they shouldn't have announced it so long ago, but I guess we can blame the betatesters as well, god knows what they found in that program.

It's not too different, but many features announced in the fall update were a response to Home, like that. Maybe it will get canned as well, BUT I HOPE NOT.

I like as many options as possible, and I want to watch movies with pals.

The first time I heard those features I knew they would not make it.

MS announced the same features for XBL on 360 and they never happened for the same reasons.

Understandable. I don't think I would have used those features anyway really, since I have no RL friends with 360s that I'm comfortable enough to actually share and watch movies with. Can you imagine watching a movie with someone you don't even know? Makes me lulz :Psargentbotk

you can still "invite" people over and watch a movie (which is a cool feature...if my friend has a movie i wanan watch i can tell him to put it on..

home really isnt even as good as mplayer....because mplayer didnt have any sever limit from my knownledge everyone who was in quake 2 lobby could chat...it wasnt a broken into pieces lobbys 256 players on this etc....there would be more than 300 people in room talking at once...plus you had a main mplayer general chat which wasnt for hosting a game...but just shooting the shat

mplayer was lightyears ahead of this console crap.
