Well buddy I have played Infamous SS and have seen this game in action and it DOSE look like infamous in gameplay, the number of enemies on screen doesn't really change that statement true or not. You seem to be reaching with your number of enemies argument but that makes it more even more clear you don't have any firm rationality to be arguing with me.
The number of enemies don't change the gameplay? Not sure in what fantasy world you are living in, but it changes a lot... As if Dead Rising would be the same game if it only had 10 zombie enemies on screen. So no I'm not being irrational, I actually would like to think that I'm being more rational than you at the moment. Even traversal is different, fighting enemies is different, it looks completely different... There is barely anything similar to Infamous SS.
First of all the 100 enemy to 10 is a fanboy BS statement to begin with (if not post a pic or gif of SSO with 100 enemies, I already know you can't) also the main differences it the games are to tone with Infamous being a bit more serious and SSO being more silly. The gameplay is very much similar and unless SSO has a stellar story line you are not going to love Sunset if you hate Infamous.
Infamous SS greatest drawback was that it didn't have an online component and that may be SSO saving grace if it's in and is really good.

Apparently the further you get into the game, it becomes a much more complicated affair, with lots of the gameplay taking place in the vertical plane, as well as the horizontal

Its a platformer, its a shooter, you can grind, hang, wall run, double jump, roll, there's alot of enemies on screen. Creative weapons. The colors look awesome, i actually think the art style looks dope, I hyped it as getting an 8 here at first, but I'm leaning more towards a 9 now. The game looks fun... straight up if you don't think it looks fun I have to wonder what new IP's you think look more fun to play coming out this gen. The only thing i was worried about was the frame rate, and this guy seems to think it runs smooth as butter.
Yeah Insomniac is know for making some of the coolest weapons out there..

Where did I say I hated Infamous :s I just said SSOD is a different game compared to it...
I think on screen we are seeing 30-40 enemies at the moment, and this view isn't even 120 degrees...
There is footage from the multiplayer, i think it's called chaos squad, also with a lot of enemies on screen, probably even more than 100 hundred. You keep saying gameplay is the same as Infamous, and I already clearly stated why this isn't the case... Not fighting enemies, not traversing the world, and it doesn't look like it, graphically...

Your comparison is way off,and muster on the game look generic and bland,much like DR3 zombies,now before you say shit i am not downplay the game,i think it will be a hell of allot fun game,i even voted 9 for it on the hype thread and explained why.
But monsters aren't really comparable to Infamous NPC.
Neither are the graphics this game is cartoony 900p 30FPS,Infamous is not cartoony and is 1080p over 30 FPS.

I dont care really. Here i live i can easily rent a console and a game for 30$ per 3 or 5 days ( depends the title ) so i can play whichever game i want for as much as i want , finish it , get the experience and move on.

Infamous SS and Sunset Overdrive are two totally different games, they both take place in an open world but that's where the similarities end. I've played Infamous 1 (skipped 2) and Second Son, I don't see how you are comparing them. Maybe it's because you Sony fanboys know nothing about Sunset, and are just trying to convince yourself they are the same game so you aren't missing out.
"Custom xboned graphics"? I think Sunset looks way better than infamous personally. Infamous is cold, lifeless, and empty when it comes to personality and art style, Sunset is far from that!

Thank you! i was about to say that, drop down smash attacks are in ALOT of games. Sunset is nothing like infamous besides being open world. If you think sunset is an infamous clone you honesty are just flat out stupid. Its closer to tony hawk than it is infamous lol
I am not a fanboy and currently don't own an xbox one or a ps4. I am a 360 owner. This game does not look fun and the art style looks like poo to me. I don't understand what the hype is about. Looks as boring as mirrors edge
this looks pretty sweet , i wont be purchasing it tho, ive created a big enough backlog as it is this gen and cant seem to find the time to get any gaming in .
There should be a run button. Seems like the game will be more and more fun mostty after getting more and more different weapons. Tbh tho, that defend the vat mission didn't look too much fun.We'll see.

@ermacness: thats interesting, I have both as well and I haven't bought a PlayStation game since AC4 way back when. Its been mostly Titanfall and Killer Instinct on my x1 so far this year but I'm making 3 x1 purchases right around the corner. Will be waiting for Bloldborne and UC4 personally.
