[QUOTE="trizzle_a"]That does look bad, but the Wii still can't handle that, OUCH!
Eponique
Don't underestimate the GCN. *looks at Rogue Squadron*
I dunno, it sure does look like the Wii could do that.
*Looks at Lego Star Wars II*
:P What?? I just got it, and it is graphically impressive.

After a long thought, I think the N64 may be able to handle it, if the developers tried
Come on, gimme a break. Anyone actually playing this game knows that it looks great, and all of this graphics bashing needs to stop. Its using Gamebryo, the same engine Oblivion uses. It has rough edges, but in some areas, it looks better than Oblivion.
You guys honestly believe the Wii can push this?
UMm gamebroyo was just announced for the wii!

Fair enough. That doesn't change the fact that Two Worlds looks great.
It simply means the Wii is indeed capable of pushing some great visuals, and that the Gamebryo engine has evolved and been optimized further.

looks more like ps2. Buldars gate or champions of narrath.
The Wii version would have to have a huge downgrade plus pointless arm flailing controls.
So it would be almost unplayable.

So you're basically saying Oblivion looks last-gen. Ok then....
Lets compare bad games.Keep in mind that this is coming from a Wii owner.
Far Cry Vengeance for the Wii (it really looks this bad, look yourself).
Splinter Cell Double Agent for the Wii.
See what I did there?
this is what you get using dvd on next gen systems with very large game. like oblivion its the same building, trees, caves ext. i can't wait to see an exclusive rpg for the ps 3 like white knight story and show you guys why the dvd was a bad move for micrsoft. you guys will see differant buildings, caves, ect. look at rachect and clank open world platformer. show me the same building ect. lol i now i will get flamed for this but this is what oblivion had to do to fit on dvd. you think they wanted to make every thing look the same.GARRYTH
Just wait!.....
You do know that disk size isnt the reason those caves are all similar? ...Guesing by your post the answer is NO!
Games take time and money to create the more things you have in the game and variety in the environments the longer it will take to develop equaling to more money being spent.
Unless developers bugdets and time scales double your not gonna see that!
Most games take 2-4 years to develop and cost 10-20 million to produce!
Oblivion took 5-6 years and cost almos 40 million!
THATS WHY 50GB IS TOO MUCH AND 9GB SHOULD BE FINE!
IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DEVELOPER SKILL'S AND EXPIERIENCE ITS MONEY AND TIME!
IF A DEVELOPER JUST STARTED A GAME WITH WHAT YOU WANT THE GENERATION WOULD BE OVER BEFORE ITS RELEASE!

Ok starwars has co-op with 100 tie fighters on screen at once. Which ones is better?

I'd rather play with 7 of my friends online.
All you are proving OP is that the one TW screen you keep comparing tois a bad capture. Compare your Star Wars screen to the screens I posted. Now honestly tell me which one looks better. It's no contest. And have you even played the game or are you simply basing your opinion off of screens from websites?
I will agree that Oblivion is more polished. But I own Two Worlds and I can say with full confidence that it looks great. Some of the vistas are actually nicer than the ones in Oblivion.

Lets not go that far
Heres a fun game, name one good game that ever came from Southpeak Interactive, I've asked this several times here and nobody has ever come up with so much as one, if you can do it you will be the first.Riverwolf007
None before Two Worlds. Whats your point?

I'm glad you found a game you like, I'm the last person that will ever claim superority because someone likes a game generally regarded as "bad" you will be much happier in the long run that way.My point though is that Southpeak Interactive is a crap studio, and there is zero evidence that they will ever be anything but crap.
Now that observation does not have anything to do with my decision as to if I will ever play TW or not I was pretty hyped about the multiplayer aspect andmay eventually try it out at some point.
I bet this is one of those games that you and your friends find in the bargain bin a year from now and all decide to try it out and end up having fun with because its you hanging out with your rl friends killing stuff.

I agree that South Peak is an unproven dev, and that yes, Two Worlds is a game that is rough around the edges. That being said, TW is not crap. They've done a lot of cool things in this game, and considering the size and scope of it, I think they did a fairly good job overall. This title requires patience and perseverance from the gamer, something a lot of people either can't or don't want to be bothered with anymore. But the general consensus is for those that do get a few hours into the game, they soon realize that its actually quite fun.
It's impossible to argue with people that haven't played the game. I own it it looks alot better then anything on the GC, and at times it does look nicer then Oblivion. As far as I know this is Southpeak's first game, and when you compare it to Dungeon Siege and the Gothic series, I think they did a pretty good job. The only really bad feature of the game is the voicework, which is so bad it's actually really good.
Wii owners don't have anything that even couldn't be done on Xbox 1 and they are slamming 360? BTW two worlds has large environemtns with the draw distance of Oblivion, at 720p. Uhmm I am sorry but Wii can't do that. Plus two worlds is also on PC did people seem to forget that also?
