How did 2007 go to Nintendo?

How did 2007 to ANYONE for that matter when we're not even halfway through this year? :P

Actually it is... by a humungous landslide.

And 2008 will go to Nintendo again 

I can't tell.  Its gonna be hard.  With the Wii and 360 unleashing their big guns kinda late this year, some people may wait till next year to get them for a price drop or something and Sony is unleashing its big guns next year (about time).  It could go any way.

Ya, its a new and exciting cheap console. Of coarse its going to dominate 360 sales this year. But in the long run, 360 still has more sold. When you say who has won 2007, I think of who still has more sales, and who has had the better games in 2007, which 360 wins.ManEatingTree

I think it's unfair to overlook Metroid, Final Fantasy [tba], Mario, and Smash Bros titles.

Nintendo may be getting good sales in hardware but as software goes , people are mainly buying Miyamotorola games and not 3rd party.

With Halo 3, Mass Effect and the other great titles coming out for the 360 this year belongs to MIcrosoft as well as last year. Software is a greater revenue than the hardware especially for these nest gen consoles.

i can see from reading some of the posts that the title is misleading you are talking about sales and not games right

 if so can you mention that in the first post lilac :)

this year no doubt goes to nintendo

next year i expect the shortages to continue (2008) so i voted ninty

2007 is going to Nintendo!!!

NO Way.

The Wii may have sold the most consoles this year but as gaming experiences go it goes to Microsoft again for consoles. But the pc will always be the ultimate gaming machine.

My 360 and PC get played far more than my Wii because they both have more and better quality games.

You guys are acting like the Wii won't get any games 'till Wii sales start droping.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

There's much more, but I'm only stating the obvious... 

I dont know whats going to happen in 2007 because theres alot of wildcards games wise for Sony......(Lair, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted...) We have no idea if these games will flop or be blockbuster must haves......they could sway either way. Nintendo has sure fire games like SSBB, SMG, MP3 and some others and Microsoft has sure fire games games like Halo 3 & Mass Effect...

but 2008 looks to be Sony's as of right now..... MGS4, GT5. FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, DMC4, White Knight Story, Tekken 6, LittleBigPlanet, Silent Hill 5 , Resident Evil 5 and whatever else is announced....Sony's 2008 reminds me of Sony's 2001 which was insane.

How does it come in last? It has Motorstorm, MLB 07 The Show, Virtua Fighter 5 and Oblivion to this point while Wii has Super Paper Mario.
