2008: Best year in Gaming of current gen.

We can dig deep into past years but I think that this year is releasing the best titles, the most AAA titles, and is hands down the best gaming year so far this gen.

2007 was great

but 2008 releases annihilates that year

LBP

Resistance 2

Gears 2

Left 4 Dead

Fable 2

Fallout 3

FarCry 2

Dead Space

Prince of Persia

Super Smash Bros Brawl

Okami

I have a feeling that all those games will go AAA and thats way more AAA titles than 2007 released.

Every year keeps getting better, 09 already is starting to look better than 08.

Oh yea and I like 08 more than 07.

I have to say that as of right now . Im playing more 07 and 08 games equally

Its definately going to change after late October.

07 had quality, 08 is going to have more quality.

I wanted to disagree....

But if Gears of War 2, Banjo 3, Fable 2, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Mirror's Edge, and Left 4 Dead

Deliver on there buzz, then i guess it would be hard to argue against 08....07 had way better shooters, but for diversity, and sheer depth i gotta go with 08.

we saw these games years before....great games obviousaly just you can't say 07 loses Eternal SOnota and Bioshock just because 08 gets it as well.....07 had it first and when it was fresh...

And yeah, this has been an awesome year for gaming, but an expensive one, too.

Didn't say it wasn't a new game. Its called Recon cause its different. Its not the same game, and its not 4.
