The thing is, Mario, Metroid,and Zelda have been around since the days of the NES. And they show no signs of slowing down. The games just keep staying Awesome. Don't hate! lol

I didn't say Super Mario 3 introduced power-ups, I said it introduced it to the Mario series. I was trying to demonstrate that every game in the franchise has innovated a huge amount and is not the same thing over and over again; but it seems like you missed that point.

Mediocre graphics? You are pretty much insulting everything currently on the Wii then because SMG has the best graphics on the system and even includes many graphical techniques that are found on the PS3/360.

I have played God of War before, and the story is not that unique...seeing as it is based on Greek mythology in the first place. Much of the gameplay consists of button mashing.

Moving on to gravity. What I meant by that was being able to manipulate gravity in many different ways. In most games, you jump and come back down as you stated before. In SMG, you have to take into account the gravitational pull of the objects around you. What this means is that you will be platforming upside down, on the side, etc.

You stated that Bioshock is "worthy of becoming Game of the Year." But who actually won GOTY from most gaming sites? SMG. That is a fact.

Lastly, over 8 million people bought SMG, so who is getting left behind again?

Holy crap, take a chill pill and calm down. All that person is saying in the last post was in every single main mario game they do something to change the formula rather then releasing the same game with new graphics. But again GoW3 looks like they are changing up their formuala compared to GoW2. But some people like me read books and wacth movies for storyline and play games for fun. So storyline in games is only a plus for a game to some people and not a must. But just to remind you voilence and sex does not make a storyline or a game mature or even greek mythology of that matter.

I've been saying it for months now. If you were judging this past E3 by games, Nintendo won in a landslide. And both other systems had great exclusives and multiplats to show. Nintendo's lineup between the Wii and DS is just that good.

Wii won a poll? The world must be coming to an end:D Anyway, I just hope Monado and Cosmic Walker come out next year, those games look sweet......judging by screenshots.

If you ask me, 2009 is a much better year for Wii games than 2010, judging by the present announcements. 08 has been great as well.
