2010 is the year of the Xbox 360

Call me a fanboy.If you've ever seen any of my posts, you know I am a PS3-only owner.

But the 360 is gonna kill this year. Its exclusives really outshine the PS3's. A new Halo game is coming, Mass Effect 2 is here as well, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction... The list just goes on.

The PS3 has some good exclusives like Heavy Rain and God of War 3, but they don't really compare to the 360's. Mass Effect 2 and SCC already killed this year. Plus Bayonetta, which is much better on the 360. There's also some speculation that Crysis 2 will be canned on the PS3. I say that very blandly, because I don't really remember where I read it. But if it happens, it's a big deal (Crysis 1 holds a 91 score on Metacritic... That's harsh).

Anyway... Yeah that's it. I also want to remark (so that all you Xbots get horny about a PS3 "fanboy" glorifying the 360) that it's titles like Splinter Cell that make me want to own an Xbox 360. That game looks TOO killer.

I think it is safe to say that it is the year of the gamer. Just look at January alone:

Mass Effect 2 (PC, 360)
Bayonetta (PS3, 360)
MAG (PS3)
No More Heroes 2: Desparate Struggle (Wii)
Darksiders (360, PS3)
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom (Wii)

If that isn't the best and most balanced January in gaming history, then I haven't been playing games long enough

2. Where did you hear about Crysis 2 canned on PS3? I demand a link.

3. 2010 is the year of the GAMER. Don't allow a machine to win. This is OUR year, no matter what system you own.

I agree with you, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, and Halo Reach are must have games for me along with all of the multiplats like Bioshock 2 that I will get on the 360 are gonna make it a great year for my 360 playtime. But it is still subjective, as they both have a bunch of exclusives. Unfortunately for me, the only thing I want to get on the PS3 is Modnation Racers and maybe Heavy Rain, the rest is meh to me.

I dub this year of the gamer and a great year to have all the consoles.

Of course it is, I'm getting Death Smiles this year....In English.

my PC is under a thousand dollars and i can play almost everygame on medium and i will be playing splinter cell and mass effect on pc and crysis 2 which will play and look like **** on consoles the pc will have the better version of all those games

As far as YOU are concerned. As far as GS is concerned 09 was the year of the PS3. Not sure who took 08 i didnt visit GS much that year.
