2011 is going to be a good year

I think 2011 is going to be a very good year for gaming, Nintendo releases a new system, and lots of long awaited and or high-profile titles are getting released.

Shogun 2: Total War (March 15)

Nintendo 3DS (march 25 i Europe)

IL2-Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover (March 25)

Duke Nukem Forever (May 3)

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Q2?)

Half-Life 2: Episode 3 (Pretty please?)

That's pretty much my toplist. Man is this going to be a good year for Nintendo and PC gamers :)

i'm looking forward to crysis 2, max payne 3 and rage.

2011 will be a great year. Here are my 5 most hyped games.

Skyward Sword: Zelda is my favorite IP, and it has been promised that the game will change the dungeon/overworld structure. If it does that I will be one happy camper.
With Fire and Sword: The 2nd expansion to Mount and Blade. Ever since playing Warband (didnt play vanilla until much later for mods), I have said to myself this is what Oblvion should have been like. This is a Turkish game based on a Polish novel. Hype level pushed skyhigh when IGN mentioned "cooperative and competitive multiplayer" and if that means a co op campaign, I wont have a social life anymore.
Witcher 2: The first game made me realize what a real RPG is like (not the kind of crap coming out of Bioware). This one looks even better.The Prison Break trailer was excellent. This is a Polish game based on a Polish novel.
Dark Souls: I loved Demons Souls, what little we know of Dark Souls, has my hype level soaring.
Arkham City: Arkham Asylum made me a Batman fan.

I also cant wait for: Age of Decandance, Diablo 3, The Last Guardian and Subversion.

Hmm, we need more games based on Polish literature.

I don't like the look of some of those games that SNIPER4321 posted, Crysis, Rage, Brink, Dirt, Forza all look boring imo but it's his opinion so trying to correct it is just rude. Anyway I'm most hyped for: MGS Rising Socom 4 Gears 3 TES V Mass Effect 3 Batman AC U3 TLG I thought last year was going to be the best year ever but games like GOW III, AW, Crackdown 2, Fallout NV, Halo Reach, Fable III were all huge dissapointments imo. It was probably the worst year this gen, I'm being slightly pessimistic this year.BigBoss255

Diablo III, ES:V, Gears 3, Killzone 3, Dues Ex, Batman GC...it is going to be an expensive year!

Alan Wake is a known dissapintment so you can't single me out, I still enjoyed it though but maybe my expectations were too high. While were on it I forgot Conviction, I hyped that AAA but it didn't even deserve AA. An awful, awful game. Anyway didn't I list Gears 3 ahead of U3?. Ahh :) I was playing Warband like 1 hour ago, but took a break after I saw Sultan Hakim's 2000 man army outside my capitol :( I am thinking of a strategy while we are speaking. Should I risk fighting those pesky Mamlukes without the help of my vassals or should I run pick up my fellow vassals as fast as I can and maybe make a daring rescue, or should I let them take the town and take it back later.

Here is a trailer, and a preview from IGN and Escapist. They had me at 3 Storylines, Europe (I am swedish and sweden is one of the factions) and 17th century.

Dark Souls, Infamous 2, Deus Ex, Rage, Portal 2, Killzone 3, TES: Skyrim (:D), Mass Effect 3, etc. It is going to be good year, bad on the wallet though.

The only game that I'm looking forward to is Asura's Wrath...

Im trying tobuy a game or some sort of DLC every month this year it seems like! January was Dead Space 2. Febuary will be Bulletstorm. March, Crysis 2 or Dragon age 2. April, Mortal Kombat. May, Brink or Duke Nukem Forever. June, Break time! Probably buy Black ops First strike map for Zombies:) and then later in the year.....Skyrim, Mass effect 3, Battlefield 3, Dirt 3, Forza 4, Rage.....Ok im gonna stop typing now...for my wallets sake. :)
