2011 is the year of graphics,

just thinking bout it is pretty funny,

• Febuary brings around the stunning KZ3
• April the new and improved Gears 3,
• spring holds Crysis 2,
• Rage has Q3 or 4 on lock.
• Kindoms is set for 2011
• shogun 2
• The witcher 2

now 4 games focoused on graphics sounds like a lot, but thats without the rumoured/ exected games.

• UC3 from ND may come around in 2011 as well.
• You also have Firbird (which is like MS's ICE studio) having worked for more than 2 years on a project.
• Team ICO also has The Last Gaurdian set for 2011.
• Infamous 2 is also locked for 2011
• as is socom 4.
• Perfect Dark 2 is rumoured on MS's side from Rare so there's another potential pretty game (since Rare strives to push what ever hardware hey work on).

That makes 13 games if the rumours are true.

And I will be enjoying such graphics now on PC.

Only planning on getting Killzone 3 out of those 3, I never played Crysis 1 and have seen nothing from Rage to get me excited, I'll have to see more.

Maybe because they're being devved by top tier developers? Crysis 2 is guaranteed great gameplay, going by Crysis, Gears 3, well, Gears series has solid gameplay, Rage will have great gameplay because it's iD, the creators of the FPS. Killzone 3 will be great, just like Killzone 2. I'm not saying the games will be great, but going by previous entries in their series, they're guaranteed great gameplay.

Nah, the 9800GT will be able to perform better then just med, 720p I think. Maybe high / highest 720p, or med 1080p with atleast 30fps.

And on consoles, Uncharted 3 & Killzone 3 will efface them all.

Having Stellar graphics in a game, should come fairly easy these days - and I see no reason why there shouldnt be incredible graphics, just as there should be great gameplay..
