Nintendo
-Third party support will be about the same as the Wii when the new consoles come out
-Will not drop the price of the Wii U
-Will announce alot of their big name games, but most of them wont come out for another 18-24 months
-3DS will continue to dominate
Microsoft
-Will announce next Xbox
-Roughly 6-8x stronger than 360

-Will show off new and improved kinect
-Will offer low price Xbox 3's with a 2 year contract.
If you are talking about only the home console market then I think Sony, as a company in general Nintendo will win 2013 (because X/Y).
cant do a long post on my phone. ill end up chucking it. that said, Im focused on what games will strike my fancy... i bought the xbox first this past gen because of bioware support (huge kotor nerd) currantly I find the games that xbox gets as console exclusives with PC to be better than ps3 exclusives so im excited to see where that goes...
ill say...
Xbox and ps4 will be comperable systems separated by whoever advertises and prices competitively , taking the lead...
WiiU wont fail because of first party support and pricing model, but i see at least 30million of those casual wii sales getting spread across a more compelling kinect 2.0 and whatever efforts sony makes. *note- compelling doesnt mean good, it means casuals will be casuals always judging a book by its cover. ultimately i think nintendo will have to upgrade the wiiu prematurely...
putting metagames and pointless bickering aside, i think next gen will be pretty awesome all around.
Nintendo:
3D Mario (release Holiday 2013)
Retro Studios (release November 2013)
Yoshi's Island (release September or October)
I'm expecting Sony too because of more great games and possible PS4 maybe? Hopefull some Vita games.
But the real winner are the gamers, it's going to be a great E3 for everyone. Can't wait to see what the next Xbox will be like (even though I probably won't be getting the system).
My predictions:
If Nintendo releases Zelda or Metroid and gets it right this time (Wii entries were a tad dissapointing), Nintendo will win.
My predictions: the Wii U will start losing 3rd party support and Sony/Microsoft won't release their next consoles until 2015.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will not be nearly as bad as some people expected. On the other hand, The Last of Us will not live up to the hype.
[QUOTE="OB-47"]Skyrim had a new engine, fallout too id imagine, unless you mean totally revamped... yeah i want an amazingly detailed fallout 4 please.. I rather they make it so that 80% of the game isn't walking around in a dead, barren wasteland. I know that's kind of the point but New Vegas on the other hand felt so "live", know what I mean?Fallout 4 announced with ENTIRELY NEW engine.
I can hope.

I can hope.

My prediction is that the Wii U continues to struggle all year until this holiday when it becomes completely irrelevant (Well thats not true, the new Zelda and Mario kart will keep it relevant for the Nintendolts)RR360DDToo... damn... early to judge.

It's meant to be a wasteland but with plenty of life as well. That's more of the fault with the current engine that Fallout games are using. It's incredibly outdated, and not only visually.
The strip itself felt so disappointing due to the engine's failure to either populate it to make it look like it was really Vegas, nor have proper NPC interactions. They would be like drunkards on the strip and if you talked to them, instead of a slurred speech they would randomly stand completely upright and talk to you as they normally would. That's a very small example but it represents some of the artificiality that the game had. Still love it though, and need to finish it NOW.
