21 Great PC games you'll never play on consoles.

So I came across this. I thought it was a decent list. I was sad to not see System Shock 2, Diablo II: LoD, and Deus Ex, but still a decent list.

You can't mention Torment on a list like this without mentioning Baldur's Gate 2. I am disappointed in them.

somehow i think i'll survive without playing them, the only two that i would be interest in playing is stalker and star wars but i already did

Plus isn't Crysis coming to consoles? And Second Life isn't exactly something anyone I know wants to check out anytime soon, I think I'll live if I can avoid virtual furries.

Only 5 interest , with LoL being the only one for me a must-buy. Its a really fun game.

There's also this, though in this case games like Infamous and Mario are 100% not coming, where as PC games aren't really stopped by their publishers or anything from being ported to consoles anytime. I wouldn't be surprised if 2k put System Shock as a PSN and XBL title in anticipation of Bioshock: Infinite.

I think that is more for PC gamers to read, because believe me most consoles gamers do not give a crap about most of the games listed. I think they went too far into trying to make PC games look unique even though it has other more appealing games for console gamers.SaltyMeatballs

I guess some people find their fandoms and allegiences more important than playing good/amazing games. It's even worse for those diehard fans, since pc has more exclusives than all consoles combined...every gen, and then some.

I like how they included The Old Republic, even though it's not out yet. :P And I can make a list of 21 great games you'll never play on PCs just as easily.

I have to like the list because Vampire is on there. Starcraft 2, Dawn of War II, Amnesia, and Planescape are great too.

Though Crysis will probably be on consoles someday, Stalker might end up going as well (perhaps as DLC sometime in the future), and the rest I don't really care about.

Usually lists are bad but, this one is probably the worst I have ever seen. EVE is a great game like I'm a great athlete. :roll:

I've palyed STALKER. It is not as great as people make it out to be. It does have a good atmosphere. It's not even about PC vs. Console. We are comapring two games, both which are great games. I'm not sure why we have to be so adamant about which one is better than the other. I put the review score in their because the person I responded to did the same.

this generation alone the pc has more high scoring exclusives than all three consoles combined.

hmmm... by numer 2 the list has already contridicted it self with starcraft 64 which played fine, Starcraft's single player is inanely easy and does not require the massive macroing that the multiplayer does...and the only reason the multiplayer requires this is because its pretty much all starcraft players would play is starcraft... when you have players that spend oftne every waking moment with your game you tend to get very seasoned and practiced players...

by 7 its just silly a indie game that couldn't appear on a console really? really...lol

9...yet minecraft is coming to the 360 and there are rampent clones on xbox live indie games...and its just a 2d minecraft clone...

tagline was "PC games that rely on system performance and unique gameplay that consoles and iPads just can't match." Hardly any of the games on their had gameplay that the consoles can't do and often just as well, and preformance?funny that the only demanding performance wise game was crysis the rest are playable on pretty stock cheap pc's...any one notice how like 70% of the list were rts?

Dang... This got more posts than I expected.

Like I said, the list is not without it's flaws. I hate WoW and 2nd Life, I have never even played Football Manager, and there were some other RPGs/Aadventure games on there that I have never played, but still, some very good games. S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Starcraft II, Crysis, and my favorite game of all time, Planescape: Torment. I mostly just like that list because they included it.

And to the guy that said Deus Ex was on the PS2, I'm pretty sure you're thinking of DE: Invisible War which I am also sure was on the XBox too. Though I could be wrong. Heck, there was a version of Counter Strike on the PS2.
