I remember when I first got my 360 and games like Kameo in HD made me feel like my eyes and brain were being burnt out of my head. I wonder if this thing causes the same effect. I got used to if after awhile but it was weird.

Actually I was meaning about TV's and not about the game!!! Besides you'd be motion sick if you either watch or play games with that high res by sitting too close to your monitor. I mean how much can the human eye take for realism???
I dont know that res is like 3 times this one... And wow I feel sorry for people that feel sick of reality...lol Anyway is someone gave me this HDTV for free I can assure you that I wouldnt feel anything other than joy... :p

Gonna cost more than sonys 70 inch LCD. Hell it will cost 10 times that... It has like 4 times the resolution... But some things in life are a luxury...abd if one has the cash its better to enjoy it than to hide it...
Just FYI: You won't be gaming on that for a very long time time. Mind you, the 3840 x 2160 pixels it has is over twice as many pixels as the highest 2560 by 1600 display today. (I seriously doubt any PC rig can run crysis at it's fullest at a steady 30fps at that resolution) Plus, there is no cable that has enough bandwidth to even transport all that data for resolution that high.... (expect maybe HDMI 1.3)
BTW, I'm pretty sure westinghouse was demoing a TV like that, and it only was suppose to cost about $50,000 :o

That makes absolutely no sense, the human eye can't even see resolutions that high, I suppose if it's on an insanely large screen then yeah it's good, but otherwise pointless.
Funny I just looked up the price and its not listed you know why? Because its for industrial applications meaning its not even avialable to the public so even if you could buy this TV it would cost more then a BMW another pointless thread by True_gamer
