PS3 (80Gb) £294.98

£120 for a 360, that is insane. People may mock the lack of HD but you need to remember it's aimed at the casuals and they effectively rule the market.

Why its worth more? It has more inside it than the 360.

If you are asking value, that is a whole different issue and would be different for everyone.

Its 159 pounds for a premium 60 gig with HDMI.... 300 quid for the 80gig ps3

Edit.. Imo, 360 is much better value.

If you're looking at the xbox remeber the extra costs. Its 40 pounds just to play online for only a year! And if you have wirless internet you have to buy a 50 pounds adapter so that brings it up to 240 pounds, only 50 pounds less than PS3 with blu ray and HDD. Blu ray players on their own are around 200 pounds so PS3 is the better deal.plod2

Live is £30 a year for a vastly superior service, most people don't use wireless.

how does that work? to judge how many aa exclusive title are on a platform you have to use ratings from a website. games are far too opinion based to say that there are more titles that are better on a particular platform

ehh, it's quality made, comes with more stuff within it than 360(blu ray, wifi), is more expensive to make, probably made in japan.

in terms of all around, it's extremely justifiable.

in terms of purely gaming, the 360 is a much better deal.

The mass public is not affected by YOUR INDIVIDUAL tastes. I mean, you clearly are a ........... because you think that people only plays MGS 4 on the PS3, while MGS is a niche franchise. The PS brand is made of a mix of genres, not to mention that the most popular title is GT5P (call it a demo if you want, just goes to prove ignorance).
