That was it. The Wii was very spur of the moment. GameStop got a shipment while I was in line getting a game.

That was about it. I knew it would get games like Hot Shots and WipEout that I loved in prior gens, but they were not the things that made me say "I want that system."

Back in the day, when I had a 360, the only game that I was interested was Dead Rising. Then you could add Gears but my 360 died in act 2 so I decided to sell it (my country is not in the MS warranty policy so I sold it)

For the PS3, aside from having BC, my pics where: White Knight Chronicles, Lair (I love this game, and Im a Rogue Squadron fanboy also so that may be the reason) and Motorstorm.

I did not listed the other exclusives (some no longer) that are sequels because they are like the obvious reasons to buy a new console imo.

I also bought a PSP to play the spin offs of many series and mostly because of Crisis Core and Portable Ops.

360: Bought it for halo and hated the game (online is just bunnies with guns)

seriesly, that was one of the reasons and also, MGS 4, Uncharted, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, GT5: P

wii .. zelda TP was enough (although ofc i knew that other great 1st party titles, like SMG and SSBB would be released eventually)

360 .. oblivion, perfect dark zero, and kameo (remember that a lot of people thought that the latter two would be classic RARE)

PS3 .. MGS4 (and blu-ray .. my old SDTV had died a few weeks before, i got a HDTV replacement and wanted to test it out fully, and blu-ray is the perfect way)
