3 Games You Want from the New Gen?

I'm curious what 3 games or series you would want from the new gen (yes, I'm including WiiU and PC for those fans to participate) to make it one of your favorite generations?

This isn't a debate of what game would look better on what platform and for argument's sake, unless it's obvious like Uncharted, Mario or Halo, we'll assume they are on all platforms.

For me, I'd like to see Shenmue HD collection as well as Shenmue 3 with an ending. Fans have been waiting since what... 2001 for the story to continue? Damn Sega.

Next I'd like a mature and darker Ninja Turtles game thats of the same calibur as the Batman Arkham series. 4 player online and couch coop would be a must.

Lastly I'd like to see Capcom get off their ass and reboot Dino Crisis properly with Regina as the main character. I fear the closest I'll get in reality is the FPS, Primal Carnage Genesis.

A new Resident Evil, Star Fox, and F-Zero. A Star Fox Adventures 2 would be awesome.

Good old grid based, turn based strategy game (think Fire Emblem) but on PS4 or XB1 with ridiculously beautiful production.

I want Titanfall to be as good as we hope.

I'll give my left foot to play the next Uncharted...

Something completely new and interesting in the realm if realtime/turn based strategy, or rpg. Im getting tired of endless sequels and rehashes.

I wouldn't mind a brand new, ground up Final Fantasy game.

SCRAP everything and start over, do it right...

A new Fatal Frame, Shenmue 3 and The Last of Us 2. I don't have favourite generations though. I just find them all good for different reasons.

Nintendo now owns the Fatal Frame franchise, which would be awesome on the Wii U tablet, but would probably piss people off something awful if they don't like Nintendo.

That's something I've been wondering about. I have read that Nintendo co-own it with Tecmo, so I guess they'll do another one eventually, well hopefully.

I hope they do, the Wii U tablet could actually do something really interesting with a game like that (Pokemon Snap, too, of course). Unfortunately, they released an entry for the 3DS called "Spirit Camera" that was pretty terrible and barely sold, so it doesn't seem like they'll be doing anything with the license any time soon.

As for the games I'm looking forward to the most --

1. No Man's Sky -- This is exactly the kind of new idea next-gen launches specialize in, especially when the previous wave of consoles is growing stale.

2. Zelda U -- I have a Zelda tattoo, and still, this game fell to number two. That's how excited I am for No Man's Sky.

3. Naughty Dog, just them in general -- Uncharted should be great on ps4, but I really want to see them stretch their creative legs and do something brand new, which is one thing Sony does more than any other company.

4. Quantum Break -- Alan Wake was my favorite game on the Xbox 360, this is their next game. That's all I need to hear.

5. Something new we haven't heard of yet -- Along the same lines as No Man's Sky, I adopted the next generation of consoles for the sole reason that I want new types of games. I grew bored of the previous generation almost three years ago, and I'm ready for creative developers to show me things I've never seen before in games. I'm ready to move past just making games that look like movies, I want something for any of the big three's consoles that let me play games in ways I haven't. History shows these kinds of games come out the second holiday season for a new system, so fall of 2014 looks like that time to me.

I didn't stick to just three because I've already invested in Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One. There's more than one game I want on each system.

Three games I want made that aren't announced are: Geist, F-Zero, and Medievil.

Well my three would be: Kingdom Hearts 3, Uncharted 4, and The Legend of Zelda U (also add Final Fantasy XV to the mix). But since we know all of those are in production, here's my list:

• Red Dead 3
• Prince of Persia
• A fantastic, beautiful, JRPG with a strong, emotional narrative (Lost Odyssey 2, sequel to Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6/9-ish, whateva)

1. Titanfall should be the best multiplayer shooter next year.

2. Star Citizen (if they can get it completed in 2014.

3. Project Spark as I'm very interesting in creating some unique games and can't wait to see what other people make.

Most of the other new games coming out will probably be more of the same. Watchdogs might turn out to be interesting though. I still look forward to SP: The Stick of Truth.

1) There is so much phuckin potential in the Cowboy Bebop universe. Why hasn't there been an attempt at making a legit CB game? Have your own customizable spaceship. When you travel through space between planets, it plays like starfox. When you land, it could play out like a mini skyrim or mass effect on each planet. Battle like Sleeping Dogs, since it would be martial arts based with Spike. Online, AND offline splitscreen mp could play out like a starfox type of campaign, separate from the real story. You are able to use your spaceship from campaign too. So ya, a CB game would be badace.

3) I think a rpg dbz game would be the t!ts. But battle is played out like a tales of game, but you are able to fly.

1. Dead Space 4- One of the most underrated franchises this gen, and I cannot wait to see this game running in Unreal Engine 4 on next gen consoles.
2. The Last of Us 2 - Best franchise NaughfyDog has ever made, and I cant wait to see where the story picks up. Cant even wait to play the DLC next year that I've already got the season pass for. The day a "directors cut" gets announced for PS4 is the day my PS3 goes bye bye. Dont give a modicum of a **** bout' the next Uncharted game, btw.

Dead Space isn't underrated. DS1 and 2 were pretty damn well received with a lot of people saying Dead Space 1 was one of the best games of last gen. Just part 3 got a lot of hate and rightly so.

I do hope for another one though but back to basics and not all this in your face action garbage. More like DS1 and try capture that atmosphere again

New ideas. I don't want a generation where a bunch of tried and true franchises are the headliners of the generation. I want new gameplay experiences, fresh gameplay experiences. Games that actually take some risks and shots in the dark.

Metroid is the only franchise I would be mark out for in terms of it making a comeback. Otherwise any other franchise is like eh, why?

2. DOA6 or DOAX3 with nextgen boob physics and skin textures (What? You know you want it too)

3. MGSV (Thank you based Kojima)

As much as I enjoyed TLOU, I really think they should leave it be. But if they must do a sequel, then definitely different characters

-Wave Race. One of the reasons I was let down by the spec of the wiiu. One can only imagine where the franchise could go with more powerful hardware like the ps4. Regardless, even with wiiu the series could make a massive leap forward.

-I'm also going to mention Starfox for wiiu. I'd really like to see the art direction revert back to that of more in line with the original game. Flat shaded look, but with far more polys.

Xbox One

-I'm not trying to be a downer, but I can't think of much to say. Perhaps with MS wallet, I'd like to see them invest in an all new IP of massive Halo type proportions.

PS4

-I may be the only one who mentions this, but I'd really like to see a Destruction Derby sequel. Same deal with Wave Race, the improved tech could do wonders for the concept of this game.
