3 Things Nintendo needs to do/have for you to buy a Wii-U

1. A Proper Starfox game

2. An AWESOME F-Zero game

3. AN ACTUAL GODDAMN ACCOUNT SYSTEM LIKE EVERY OTHER FRIGGIN CURRENT GEN SYSTEM!!!! Honestly, the wii was so much fail because of this alone. if your system breaks (which admittedly was extremely rare) youre up screwed on online purchases...

All they NEED to do is have a bunch of amazing exclusives that appeal to me, meaning core games that are not compromised. All they need is to have a Zelda game as good as OoT, MM, or WW to sell me :P.

1. $300 max launch price
2. Give me one game that shows the tablet has a good purpose, and I don't mean Wii Sports 2. I'd love one of Nintendo's classic franchises all purty'd up, and with great tablet integration. Pikmin 3 perhaps.
3. Don't announce friend codes

If I was to buy one later in its life:

1. Be exactly as the Wii is now. Have a fantastic selection of game experiences that aren't really possible to find elsewhere.

Well, my most anticipated part has already been confirmed (unified online structure with account system)

I would also like bluetooth headset capability.

They would have to do the opposite of what they did this gen....but why would they abandon the formula that dominated Sony and Microsoft?

I know Arkham City and Darksiders 2 will have Wii U ports, which is extremelly promising, but i just dont ever see Nintendo going back to the core gamers.

More RPG IPs or games would be nice. Other than that, meh.

Iwata already said that the Wii U will have a unified online structure using an account system

All developers have said that the hardware in the Wii U would be considerably more powerful than current gen systems.

Miyamoto has alraedy stated that he is working on a new Nintendo IP.

New IPs, New IPs, New IPs. Nintendo is such a talented company Im tired of them making the same stuff over and over again, bring out some crazy new IPs.

• Reasonable Price (anything over $200 and I'll be waiting for a price drop)
• Quality Games
• Strong connectivity with 3DS??? (wasn't sure what to put for a third option)
• EDIT: A strong online component as well. (This is something Nintendo needs to get on with. The 3DS is a step in the right direction at least)

Or, what would help:

• Super Smash Bros Wii U
• The Legend of Zelda Wii U
• Mario Wii U

...

Those would push me towards a purchase.

Nothing, I don't plan on buying it at all in 2012. Relax before you call foul, although there really isn't much information on the next Playstation or Xbox, I feel like I'll probably get none of the three at their respective launches. Nothing I've seen or heard about the Wii-U is impressive or interesting to me.

They'd need to somehow prove that the Wii U won't get completely screwed out of multiplats like the Wii was.

Since 1st party titles are a given, I will get it. Actual question is when. So, I will get it a few months later after it launches if:

1. Pikmin 3 has plasticine like graphics and it has been released.

2. Initial batch doesn't have too many malfunctions.

3. The range of the controller is good enough to use it at any place in my house.
