If you remember from PC Gamer's UK review, the review specifically said that three words will ruin the game. I happened to read a spolier, not happy about it, but it is this. "It's a dream."

Edit: This is why I vow Not to touch system wars in november until I finish Mass Effect

and I wont touch it in september until I finish Halo 3.

I'd give the game an 8.5 and drop it from 9.5 just cause of a dumb ending like this.

This makes Halo's and Gears's ending look like the Usual Suspects.

Dude, PC Gamer NEVER spoils the story for ANY story-oriented game. No credible review publication does, sorry. There are only three reviews out now, and none of them have had any such spoiler. PC Gamer may have said "3 words will spoil the game" but they never said "It's a dream." That's just a jackass's worthless guess.

I find it funny that everyone is getting angry at the TC when he did not force any of us to click on this thread. It clearly states SPOILERS in the thread title, so if anyone is going to get angry, they should be angry at themselves for making the decision to click on the thread and read it.

In any event, if this turns out to be true, then it just makes me think that devs and publishers should take more precautions in order to prevent information like this from getting out. It flat out should not be allowed period.

Um, that isn't a spoiler, its a guess. They're talking about this over at the games Official Forums, and no where does it say its a dream in the reviewCushVA

Indeed, this is just some guys guess over at the 2k forums, lol. He even admits that there is probabaly no way that he is right. Here is what he wrote :

"Three words:

You were dreaming.

My guess anyway. Final Destination-esque, having a dream on the plane; then waking up terrified, though it not actually happening in this case. Because after all, on long flights you do tend to have a nap, and no telling what your imagination might think up flying over the ocean.

However, I guess this can be thrown out the window of possibility because an audio log contains a plot twist. And it's hardly going to say "You are dreaming", or something along those lines -- I can't imagine an audio log saying anything to imply statis of some form.

Unless of course it is simply a plot twist in your dream, with another plot twist later on at the end, being that you wake up and were dreaming. Meh just give the game already so I can play it and find out all of Rapture's secrets >=D."
