It looks better than i ever expected it would be.

Water ntop as good as PC on High, but pretty good. I'm impressed.

My god, textures are incredibly low rez. I mean worse than your average console game, IMHO.

Foliage is non existant until you walk up to it, then it pops into being. Why not jsut reduce the oevrall foliage instead of doing it this way?

Explosions and particle effects NOT as dumbed down as that picture of PC vs console shows. They just lack a few particles and some dynamic lights. Otherwise they look pretty good.

Hmmm, I gotta say, nto a half-bad port. Crytek relaly took their time on this one, and ended up with a decent looking version.

NOT the definitive version a few console gamers proclaim. Clearly that's still the PC version, but pretty amazing for 6 year old hardware.

Looks about how I remember it looking on PC. Maybe some effects are missing or different, but it's likely exactly the same game in all areas that matter. That being said, as a game I found it rather poor.

I don't know why this game is getting so much hate. It's looks great, and it seems to have most of the gameplay features the pc version had.

Obviously it does not compare to PC Crysis. But it still looks decent by console standards. (What is the obsession over Bloom on consoles?)

It's not better. It's changed. It's not technically superior according to Crytek. They changed it for consoles to give a more "artisitic" look, which basically means hide everything that looks bad.

You can get the same exact effect with a single mod for the PC version, as well as having the vastly superior version.

It's called Crysis Revival mod, it's for Crysis 2. Crysis 1 within Crysis 2.

It looks good enough. If all you have is a PS3/360, you should pick this up.

However, if you have a PC capable of running Crysis, you should be ashamed if you buy this over it. ASHAMED. :x

I ended up getting a 128GB USB stick for my 360 and it wasn't that expensive and it works extremely well.

How is that not a benefit? I could use my rocket launcher and target a North Korean hut miles away.That makes the gameplay much more interactiveand more like real life instead of living in a "bubble" like the console versionis. So, it's certainly not a waste of PC RAMresources.

Crysis on PC definitely looks better. Console version does look good, though, so be merry about that.

Lighting looks overbright in the console version, seems unnatural compared to the Crysis PC version. What I do see isthe crappier textures, missing foliage, and the overall look of the game looks like it's set on medium/high settings. Not to mention the jagfest and 720P blurfest compared to crystal clear FULL HD 1080P version with 4X FSAA and 16X anistrophic filtering.

Looks great on consoles, alot better then I thought it would. Pc gamers need to stop all the hate, they boasted crysis pics till no one on this forum could stand it anymore, crysis, crysis, crysis in every thread now they all want to bash it.

Looks totally unnatural compared to the PC version especially in a tropical island setting. PC version actually feels like you are on an island with natural sunlight hitting the water.

Wow where did this come from? I remember hearing that it was coming to consoles but not so soon...WOW. I loved Crysis 2 so this is a must buy...looks phenomenal. So tomorrow for 360? Im down.
