I just saw the best movie EVER. No other movie will ever come close. I was a big star wars and lord of the rings fan. Those movies are now and for ever officially ****. I hate Sony's format to death but is 300 comes out on blu ray I will run out and get a Bluray player (not the ps3 because it's not good enough) and 300. So to any one who did not see it. Go now and see the best work of art ever.
i never followed any previews of 300 or anything... i just ignored all the media. i think taht's what made me like the movie even more since i didn't have expectations

Best movie ever? You must be under 16 for sure. It was good but no where near the best movie ever. The story was same old same old, the characters didn't really have anything special, so did the actors, some lines were cheesy as hell etc....
Not only this movie is not the best movie ever, it's an average movie at best. This movie is historically inaccurate (while being based upon graphical comics of someone else, none the less inaccurate), historically irrelevant and an attempt at making as much money as possible. The only people who consider this trash "the best movie ever" are children and teenagers (exactly the demographic which these type of movies are aimed at).

You should see Running Scared Requiem For A Dream Eternal Sunshine for a Spotless Mind Running Scared is pretty damn cool. I have seen Eternal Sunshine. It was really good. But there is just something about this movie. The blood was just like it would be in a comic book. Thats the think that i loved the most. It wasn't so much as a movie based around a comic but a moving living comic.
The movie was enjoyable as long as they were fighting, as soon as they split back to Sparta or had any lengthy dialogue it went downhill imo. Its ok, but definetely not the best ever.

Reminds me of a graphic novel, same reasons why I recommended it. I agree about 300, it's not really a movie you watch for the "moving" plot. Thanks for the recommendation I'll check it out some time.

I love the movie to death that I remembered so many of the lines in the movie. Too bad they made the Persians look like crap. I didn't like how it was based mostly on a comic which many people didn't know.
